Dear @ZOS_GinaBruno could you please elaborate abit on this, will we be able to convert any kind of gear, dropped gear too? If it works like Imperial style converter that game with the imperial edition of ESO, it will only work on select gear, crafted and a few dropped gear, not dropped gear that belongs to a set, for instance lich or worms raiment. Can we convert all gear to morag tong?

Most likely it will work just like Convert to Imperial was implemented. Which sucks, because I haven't worn convertable gear in a long time.

I did actually use it once to remove the puffiness of some PvP armor on one toon. She still looked awful, but I had completely forgotten I had the "pre-order exclusive" feature.

Guess I totally forgot everything about it then. The real news is that if there's the ability to transmog to Morag Tong then I think it's safe to assume that motif-change of existing armor will not be a thing as so many people had hoped.

    Yeah, that's almost certainly true.

I am absolutely sure it will be just like convert to imperial option, I mean - useless.
Just to be clear - I'm fully accept this. Morag tong motif doesn't deserves unique option to convert any dropped set loot to it. Everybody will be Morag tonged this way.
If we want global restyling option it should be implemented some other way.

Yea, its pretty hard to believe. The kicker is, all the motifs that you can learn, are only applicable to crafted gear, and crafted gear as we know it, are alot weaker then the dropped gear versions. Crafted sets needs a total revamp, and we need motif conversion of all gear we have.

Until I read this in the list of features I forgot I could even convert items to Imperial style.

A better solution would be to introduce Morag Tong as a motif (chapters and/or pages are aquired in Vvardenfell), and also add an outfit system and/or a transmogrify feature that works for all gear.

Basicly a nice addition to the Expansion would be the option to convert any piece of equip u got to convert it to all styles u know. Dosnt have to be 4 free

I can speak for most of the pvp community, motif pages and motifs you learn(and buy in crown store), as a crafter, is all but useless since most if not all the BiS or even goodinslot sets have ugly or predefined motif.

Wait, you can convert drop sets now? When did that happen?

    EDIT: nevermind, misread your post.

If you buy the imperial motif in game, you can also convert crafted gear. Which leads to bigger question, why can't you do that for all motifs or at least crafted stuff. Apparently the framework is there.
