[Consoles] Where is the sun?

The title says it all.

Where is the sun? I am always looking for it when it goes down or arises in the dawn but I never seem to find it.

So, where is the sun?

I see the sun all the time in game. I was just remarking last night about how nice the desert looks when it is going down in between the crags and other desert features.

Perhaps its a graphics setting?

It is indeed a graphic setting I think it's tied to view distance I could be wrong though, - if the setting is too low the sky just becomes a sort of blank hole if you look up enough, but if it's set high enough you see the entire sky way above.

I see the sun all the time. Especially at sunrise and sunset. Some of the zones have fantastic views for it. Two of my favorites are Al'khir and Stonefalls.

The sun is definitely more noticeable at dawn and dusk, for obvious reasons.

Sometimes when I see it I look away so I don't go blind . Then I remembered its on a video screen .

Oh. I am playing on console, we don't have a sun. Or I can't see it in the first Daggerfall zones. I am always looking for the sun in the sky but I never seem to find it. It's getting brighter but I don't see the source of the light. Might be a console issue. Sorry.

It's a graphics setting issue. Lowering your graphics makes the sun disappear (and the console versiom plays on low graphics).

I play on Xbox one the sun is in the sky when it is sunny.

Is it really my fault that I can't find the sun in Glenumbra / Stormhaven on XBox One?

I just took a screenshot the other day of a beautiful sunset on the coast of glenumbra and you can definitely see the sun. I'm on PS4. Don't have time to post it right now, but I will later.
