Azura's Star? Time to give it up?

When will ZOS admit that the no champion point campaigns are an utter failure? Azura's on PS4 went to 0 bars in all three factions the day after the change, and I've never seen it populated. The other day a friend and I went shard hunting at 8 pm on Friday, and never say another player.

Can we just admit the idea is a failure and put it back? We went from two 30 day campaigns with lag to one unplayable packed campaign and one deserted wasteland. How hard is it to flip CPs back on?

Well on PC EU Azura on prime time is always almost fully locked on all 3 factions. I think the problem lies with the ps4 populations in general rather than the no cp campaign itself.

Azura star PC-EU is packed. I love it there. Now all we need is a crafted set/non-CP only campaign and I will be the happiest player around.

But really, non-CP was a great idea and PC-EU is mostly pop-locked.

NO its not a PS4 EU problem its the same on PS4 NA Xbox NA and EU.Its only popular on PC more so on EU than NA.They need to turn the NO CP into a 7 day remove Haderus for Xbox NA and give us a 14 day.It's that simple.

And for everyone below 300 CP Azura is the place to go, especially after homestead's 600 CP cap increase.
Cant imagine people enjoy playing with a handicap of 15% less outgoing, 15% more incoming damage, 10% less cost reduction, 10% less recovery and so on and so on. Better strip everyone of the benefits on Azura than playing gimped when not max CP.

But after all, do console people know how high their CP are? I mean it's buffs and numbers and ZOS doesnt approve of buff tracking or number monitoring on console!

AZ pc na is not an all day thing but get good small group early evening with 2 bars across the board. During the week you will usually see 3 bars in prime time. On weekends pop locked during primetime.

Plenty of action. Lots of fun and I know many players that are maxed out and been around for awhile that prefer it over normal.

No cp is how this game should be. Resource managment matters. More build diversity. Even hybrid builds can be viable.

So ya, far from a failure.

Most console folk never knew what the game was like before CP, so they may struggle with why a no CP campaign is meaningful. Guess you console players should get together one weekend and give it a shot and see if you have more fun.

On Xbox EU we don't always even have one campaign at max pop.

Just not enough players to warrant it.

I play on PS4 EU and I wouldn't want it removed. I feel the no cp server is actually the best. Fights normally take a bit longer due to the need for resource management and less powercreep, I really enjoy that. It feels a lot better to have a real fight instead of killing (or getting killed) in a few seconds. You can kill people in azura fast as well but that is mostly against people who have no clue about what they are doing

If Az Star was 7 day like Blackwater I think it would be more popular. When people want to run for emperor they don't want it to be a 20ish day grind.

Yes you can see other CP and you can see people actually CP amount by just looking at their gaming tag if their playing ESO.For example if I like up my buddy @Ron_Burgundy_79 and he playing ESO it would show his CP amount of 730 something.

As it is Azure star was never popular on Xbox NA no one played their frfr and just a buff server.They need to make it a 7 day and give us a 14 day then call it a day.

Azura is a disgrace on ps4 NA. Population is tiny, and the people who do play are all faction swapping to boost EMP. ZOS thinks its a crafty use of the mechanic, but we all know its exploiting at the expense of others.

I dont even have to name them, just check the leaderboards. Every day running all three factions. Switching teams to kill eachother and flip keeps.

It really should become 7 day. And I wish they would start filtering out some of these exploits and the players that abuse them on a regular basis.

I went there excited to get some traditional/balanced pvp. Only to find Faction switching boosters and an empty server.

I would say that there are more pc players out there that will say remove cp system. Remove gear the replaces skill. So ya, despite your sarcasm i would would say that is true.

The real question I have is why is there still a Blackwater campaign? I remember when gear didn't matter except for the 5 pc set bonus, you could only get meteor by maybe level 47, and you (almost) never saw proxy det. I used to re-roll new toons to play in blackwater, but it doesn't make sense anymore. Even if I wanted to, they've added so much XP, I wouldn't get more than week out of a toon. Maybe there's less destro ult nonsense than Azura, but it's not worth constant rerolling.

What I'd like to see is BWB changed to a normal non-cp campaign like Azura, but left on a 7 day reset.

I can gank more ap then boosters can exploit, and got my first emp legit.

Seccond i got emp all the boosters started calling me trash.

Day 2 as emp I was offered 500k by a red to stop defending. Was wrecking anygroup under 6 people. I laughed at him and told him to zerg up.

Blue zerged up that night and I called in backup for a 2 hour emp defense between brk and alessia. I got 70k AP during the first hour.

Was dethroned but map had never had more action.

Hella scrubs ruining the server by boosting tho.

I've started calling out free ap to resources I see out of place and I check walls of every castle to call the whole map when I see cheating srubs boosting.

This server will be saved!

it's a pretty popular server for the most part on PC NA, and i find it a relaxing change after rolling in lag in trueflame for ages. I just started playing here about two days ago and so far i'm loving it.

The main issue with azura's star are the cost increase poisons, those things completely destroys the non-cp playstyle.

addons make the game better, not easier. Well, except for that It's addons that is plain cheating, hopefully they are getting rid of it soon.
