Mist form and healing ward?

I just fought someone synergizing these two skills together. Casting healing ward then healing himself in mist form.I thought one couldnt be healed in mist form so is this a bug or working normally?

Just tested this and it doesnt heal while in mist form. Guess I saw wrong in the midst of fighting, sorry everyone its false alarm.

cast healing ward, then use mist form, Mist Form will end before the heal from Healing Ward.

So cast HW, pop MF (gain 75% damage reduction), get heal from ward once MF expires, profit

Working normally as @zigzagzen just mentioned it is not cast while in mf.

Mist form also reduces the damage that the healing ward takes.

No

but that will only happen if you cast ward then mist form twice.

Or wait to long to cast mist form after healing ward. Just stating the obvious ;-).
