I didn't see any permablocking build half a year ago. Permablocking should not be a feasible build, it's cancerous.

Well it's going to be very feasible if the destro passive change goes live.

After the proc nerf you will have even less chance to kill them two guys. My guildies said fear them.... fossilize them then it was luminous shreds nope.... then neagating them.... nope. I laughed while 13 pvpers 2 generals and 2 legates among them.could not even get one to 75 percent health. Great builds I need them to tank my pledges. If you play PC na on true lag you know who they are.

Lately i've been seeing perma tanks solo flagging keeps while 8+ players are wailing on them.. I mean, lol.

Next patch I guess I'll just have to organise 12 man perma tank groups and start force flipping keeps until ZOS is forced to change it.

    Sweet mother of Hades,

We had one of those last night in Imp City. He/she was an Temp and I suspect wearing heavy as the temp took on 5 of us as we were sweating and cussing trying to put the temp down.

Just as you think you get the temp to half health...BOOOOOM!!! full health again. It took us about ten min until I got a lucky break as my Nightblade started to lay down the law. Not even a minute later as we stood there in awe still catching our breath the temp was back again for more.

I am seriously starting to dislike temps. lol

I saw this the other day, myself and a couple of other random blues spotted an enemy sorc and promptly got their health down to 5% only for them to immediately restore to full health.

At that point they started streaking about the place, I just turned away and went looking for action elsewhere.
What's the point if they can just get back to full health all the time?

I may be overly suspicious, but when a particular DC tank on PC NA TF is able to break free the instant a hard cc is applied to them ALL THE TIME over a duration of 5+ minutes in combat against 10+ experienced opponents, it raises eyebrows and leads me to think they have a third party program that auto breaks free for them. In my observation, there's about a 0.5 to 1.5 delay to break free from a hard cc for most players, but never instant.

Said tank is also able to anticipate (by dodge rolling / blocking) ranged attacks from stealth (not only snipe since that has an audible cue) coming from behind or from angles considered as 'blind spots' for a typical player. Not that dodging or blocking the attack was necessary, since said tank is able to face tank 10+ experienced max cp players with ease but merely knowing an attack was incoming from an unseen angle and reacting before it hits simply amazes me.

The two above cases leads me to believe third party programs are still used to provide unfair gameplay advantage, making some tanks near unkillable either by tweaking regen values, mitigation values or whatever it is they do.

Been hearing that CE use is still around after Synozeer's public display of its existence and widespread abuse.

Hence, I remain skeptical of players who's prowess defies logic. Been here since launch and I've seen some real cheats to pretty much sense when something is off.

Sure, there are some genuine near unkillable tanks but for the rest I'm not entirely convinced they play fair.

If you promptly got their health down to 5%, you weren't fighting one of these permablock tank builds (or trollplar) that this thread is about. Sounds like you fought a sorc who recovered and ran away from you.

What rock have you been hiding under? Do a forum search for "Miat's". There is an addon that alerts people to stealth attacks.

Also, these tank builds are just smart use of game mechanics. They have low block cost and stamina sustain that happens even while blocking (redguard, constitution passive, DK ultimate passive, etc).

In my experience it is usually Nightblades that won't ignore a troll tank. They become enraged when someone dares to not die to their super burst combo.

They become even more enraged when the troll tank is another nightblade and they get killed because they got marked and shades placed on them.

    To run them?

I wouldn't mind finding a build then using guard while in a zerg. (IE a group apparently with 10 or more people so long as its the opposing faction)

There are two ways to deal with this.

    - Just leave them be.
    - Use the tank to charge your ultimate, kill their friends, and then leave them be.

I have a good test on guys like this. If they aren't dead from my second Soul Assault I'm going elsewhere. While this isn't a good test in duels, it's perfect for overland Cyrodiil when 1 guy is fighting a dozen. Since my entire build is put together to burn down emperors, I figure if I'm not killing them, no one is. Time to move along and fry someone without 50k resists, 60k health and unlimited Vigor.

I haven't met a unkillable player . I've seen groups having a ton of trouble at their own expense from lack of experience . Standing in Malubeth beams or DPSing a Blazing Shield not knowing when to time the attack . It takes a minute or two with these players adding to the problem but I still time the shots right and the die finally .

there weren't a "thing" like they are now. In the past, you would be lucky if you see 1 of those builds in a full month of play in cyrodrill, and they didn't were even half of hard to kill as current builds are. Now, you can't go 5 minutes in Cyrodril witouth finding a full tank that is Unkillable or takes 25 minutes to kill (and ofc you get zerg down mid fight)

Half of the population in this game is afraid to die, they prefer to not being able of kill anyone as long as they can stay alive doing nothing.

Actually I tried to kill on of the indestructible tanks while they were afk with two other people. The three of us could not kill him which tells me exactly how they are doing it. I whispered them to tell them I made a video of it and was sending to ZOS the logged off btw seconds later. There is a powerful dragon that is even tougher.
