Yes another proc set thread but not the normal type though. Like all the proc set threads that are complaining about proc sets or the ones that are saying they are not bad. I am curious about the circumstances of death that may be biasing the opinions.
I have said in the past that I am ok with proc sets but this may have to do with that my main PVP character is a ranged magicka templar. Because of this I rarely get killed by velidreth, tremorscale, selene, etc.. Even infernal guardian is easy to avoid. About the only proc I ever consistantly get hit with is a viper proc from an arrow of which it is easy to heal through that.
Yes, a ranged player cannot always stay ranged but I have trained myself as soon as I get that gap closer snare to automatically roll dodge which saves me from those initial melee ranged procs.
So the question is everyone that really hates proc sets are you playing mostly a melee character getting hit with the brunt of the proc set meta regularly? And, likewise are the people that say proc sets are ok saying that because they are ranged characters that really don't get killed by proc sets that often?
I would have to admit if it turns out that those that are against proc sets are melee and those that are saying it is ok are ranged I might have to adjust my opinion since it would be obvious that proc sets are biased against melee. Just looking at the sets it does appear to be that way.
