What to do if when creating a character in ESO I have crashes with unknown error?Here you have the screenshots, I literally sat a minute in the menu and here is crashes, can't even create a character. http://imgur.com/a/aBlFn http://imgur.com/a/LHOli

I created a character last week and did not get this. So, a couple of things to try:

Try a strict clean boot to rule out a background app interfering

Make sure your Antivirus Program allows ESO

Make sure the Ports needed for ESO are allowed on your router or firewall (google router model number and port triggering to figure out how to do this on your gear)

If you have any addons, disable them while creating a character

Make sure you are connected with a wired connection to your router, not through Wifi. And, since Windows prefers wireless for some reason, you have to set Windows to prefer Wired over Wireless if you have both. Otherwise Windows will use the Wireless if it can. Setting it to prefer Wired will not stop Wireless, it just won't use Wireless if Wired is present.
