blackheart haven pledge - bugged on last boss

Hi guys, i'm in NZ, so the timezones might be a bit off. but we ran through blackheart haven last night (approx 16 hours ago), for the pledge (i think, otherwise it was random normal) and the last boss bugged. the skeletons kept coming, even after the boss was dead. we couldn't exit through the door because we were 'in combat' and we couldn't' port out because we were 'in combat'

We ended up having to be killed by all enemies and revive at wayshrine to get out of combat and finish our trading between each other. if i can provide any more info, feel free to ask.

    As soon as I loot the boss I run for the door asap.

    You can leave the group, and it will automatically port you out.

    Blackheart Haven's final boss employs my least favorite game scheme: the penalty box. A member of your tiny group is taken out of action putting your team on the power play for much of the fight....except, with an ice hockey analogy, you're down two people.

    Cluster in tight to the boss. When in the penalty boss, use your heavy attack button to breathe some sort of noxious something-or-other onto the boss and make sure that more than one of your team members has the power to heal.

    Yes, it's extremely dispiriting to have to abandon a fight. A useful, if incomplete, remedy is to take that same group to a dungeon they can crush.

    PvE group design always stresses game designers to their limits too. There're only so many things you can contrive until the entire activity feels contrived. Yet it remains the most popular activity in MMO style online games.

    hmm, we killed the boss, eventually. but the skeletons kept coming. they should have stopped when the boss died.

    We defeated the boss, the bug happened after the battle was over.


    We chose death, we fight together and we die together.

    They weren't having trouble in the dungeon - good advice and everything - but sadly not applicable to these guys lol.

    I've done Blackheart Haven a few times and never encountered this issue. Were you running it on vet or normal? I haven't run it on normal since the update and was wondering if it was just that mode. But there are so many intermittent bugs with this game it's hard to pinpoint them all.

    I hate that in Banished Cells the feasts keep coming that lock you in combat and make it impossible to trade inside the dungeon too...

    it was normal

    i guess it's better to bug report at the time, and not hours later, huh.
