Latency issues concerning possibly Oceanic players while on the EU Server compared to NA server

Apologies if there was a thread on this specific issue already or if it is in the wrong section (as I don't really know where this would go), But it has been rather noticeable and has seriously affected my gameplay and enjoyment for the game.

Sometimes I get as high as 600ms on the EU servers. I live In Australia, me and another Aussie user on the EU server were doing some latency tests between the EU and the NA server, the differences was pretty big!
I have no idea how to do spoilers so sorry for the screenshot spam, but this was my latency on the EU server while I was at a Dark anchor in Aldurin. Similar amount of people were also at the location on both megaservers.
This is through the resource monitor from the task bar (as I found the in-game latency meter a little inaccurate)

Meanwhile on the NA server in the exact same location, My latency was almost literally cut in half!
Here again through the resource monitor. Now, I know 200ms still isn't good, but It is almost half the ping i was getting on the EU server!

And mid battle, this was the highest I got and it is no where near as high as the EU one



Me and the other Aussie user both got almost the exact same ping (he got a lower ping on the NA server than I did but the same ping on the EU server that I got). Pretty much, If you're an Oceanic player, you're better off sticking to the NA server for now. I would move but then I would loose a year of work on my account and over hundreds of dollars in the Crown Store as nothing transfers between servers.
Before you say there is a problem with my computer or internet, my computer greatly meets the minimum requirements of this game and was just recently fresh installed with a new hard drive and operating system (its only a year old as well) and my internet was just recently installed 2 months ago with a fresh new modem and router and greatly meets the speed requirements.

Does anyone else have this similar issue like this?

Same issues playing on the PC NA server from Canada. Frequent spikes 200 - 600 ms during certain dungeons. After doing some packet collecting (and noticing they are using tcp instead of udp) I noticed that some packets require fast re-transmission which is a slow process with the tcp protocol. I'm sure they went with tcp initially for the ease in network programming but I think we are now seeing the results of this decision.
