What do you do in ESO as an adult with full time job and a family?

I work 9-5 job and pretty much all day while working I think of different play styles and strategies/builds skills I am gona use when I start playing ESO.
Then I come home around 5pm... have dinner. spend time with family (wife and a two year old) then when 8:30pm comes around MY ADVENTURE BEIGNS . I DIVE IN TO THE WORLD OF NIRN ... WITH ALL THE PWOER... I AM GOING TO CONCURE THE WORLD AND SLAY DRAGONS... BECOME THE CHOESEN ONE AND SAVE THE INNOCENT.... PUNISH THE WICKED .
I end up dueling for about 40 mins. do a random normal for the XP then I log and go to sleep .... funny thing is based on how many duels I win the more accomplished I feel.
The End. cant wait for some sort of small scale pvp platform. pls ZOS sooner the better. Thenks for the game

However I find I can do a quest, with taking my time and savoring it, in about 20 to 30 minutes listening to the dialog, completing the objectives etc.
Most Public Dungeons I can get through in 30 minutes or so.
Delves, from 5 to 20 minutes depending on how many Heavy Sacks and chests I look for or if the Boss is up or not.
I can do a group dungeon in 15 to 40 minutes depending on the group and dungeon.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

scorpiodog✭✭✭✭✭I have a 2nd job in the evening where I can do most of my playing. Not bad - I get paid to sit on my butt for 6 hours, but I'm often interrupted and have to AFK so I can't really join groups or anything it wouldn't be fair to them.
For a long stretch I was also able to play most evenings I had off, and did some group stuff like Trials and other guild activities. But by some weird coincidence both my roommates had pretty severe medical emergencies in November so now I'm busy helping them on my time off and can't really play for more than an hour at a time.0 -
Cavarka✭✭✭I just quest about 7.30 to 8.30, then crawl a public dungeon. Then bed. I have a little one that takes priority, so I still haven't run any instances, though I am 180 now. Weekends I sit myself at an anchor and play with the little one in between taking it down. But family comes first, have to always be prepared to put the controller down and walk away, no matter what trouble the toon is in.1 -

✭✭✭✭Full time job but no kids. Still, during the week I basically farm materials for a few hours or get 90 minutes in Cyrodiil after doing some writs. About 70% of my play time is on Saturday.1 -

✭✭✭Well bc I have only 2-3 hours a day to play I always keep goals in mind and time management is key here.
1. Log on to each character and do my writs 20 min
2. Do daily vet and normal for exp and monster sets 1 hour
3. Jump to guild store and sell anything I get from writs or picked up that I can sell 5-10 mins
4. Jump into pvp and get killed over and over by proc sets 30mins to an hour depends how much I can take
5. Log off and wonder why I play everyday XD3 -

same here for me... but manage fairly well to do some pretty hardcore-stuff on those 2-3 hours I play
monday and thursdays are just lazy PVE-days with some fun stuff with social guild: daily's, pvp, grind sets... that things or just time to level a new character
tuesday: stand-inn at trials with raid guild 1
wednesday and friday: trialsguild 2, core
saterday: no playtime here, this is my reserved family-day
sunday: trials or whatever I wanted to do

Try convincing the wife to play with you, maybe the kid can just heavy attack stuff xD
then you can spend time with the family aannndd play for more than an hour at a time.
My family all plays together, and we have a great time

I recently took a new position at work so my hours have changed. I no longer get two straight hours of play time a day, rather an hour before work and an hour after work. It's rather discouraging due to the fact that not much can get accomplished in this game within an hour. PvP queue by the time I'm out of work usually kills off 10-20 minutes of my playtime, trying to find a decent group for a pledge run also kills about 10-20 minutes on top of the time to run the pledge.
I've taken the casual route and do writs in the morning and MAYBE some PvP at night, if I even log on at all. Seems most of the fun activities need to be saved for the weekend.1 -

This! As much as people will try to dump on it, I don't think they are actually going to IC. I have tons of enjoyable small scale PVP there. Tel Var stones add to the suspense - A couple of days ago I killed a guy who gave me 8k tel var, then had several epic and nailbiting battles on my way back to base to turn them in for alchemy bags.Edited by Kutsuu on 6 December 2016 14:30PC/NA

Better off farming gold doing something reliable, then wait for a good deal to pop up on a guild merchant. I got both of my sharpened daggers under 150k each and my 2h maul for 35k. Also got lucky with a sharpened mace for 150g! I think he meant to list it at 150k.PC/NA

That's kind of what I've been doing. I'm still doing the WB loop but selling everything. Made over 100k in the last couple of days. I figure I'll keep doing that until I can simply afford weapons. I really don't know of any other good money making schemes.Hey everyone! Look! It's a signature!0 -

✭Same here to, normally put my son to bed then game on. The partner mainly works evenings so some nights I can play for hours, when she's not in work though I'll get stuck watching crap on TV0 -
