Sharpened Masters Ice Staff PVP

Does anyone know a youtuber or theory crafter that has a PVP build around this weapon?

Maybe winterborn and spinners?

Looking for a Sorc build, but will do Nightblade as well.

Just throw it on and use frost clench and wall of elements i guess.

Winterborn isn't worth it, proc rate is so low and the actual proc dmg is low.

Its just like any other staff, you don't have to use Winterborn... And why look for a youtuber or a theory-crafter when you can come up with a build yourself?

Anyway, take any build you like and replace the weapon with your Ice Staff. Done.

I have this staff. I'm a Breton NB. You could be altmer to take advantage of the extra frost damage. I've got a few builds for pvp.

grothdarr or skoria
5 overwhelming surge
3 willpower
1 destro

Grothdarr or skoria
5 Krags
3 transmutation
1 destro

If you go with the first build you can stack some crazy aoe with good damage. Stack elemental blockade, refreshing paths, sap essence, and destro ult. lock people in place with destructive reach. Watch your grothdarr or skoria go off while stacking with overwhelming. People will melt. You will have magicka issues so slot siphoning attacks and time your aoes.

If you go towards a magicka regeneration build than use transmutation and stack recovery or magicka reduction enchants as needed. Use atronach. The power of the regeneration build allows you to spam destructive reach on pesky shuffle stackers, line of site rs, and bolting sorcs. I get so many rage tells because it perma locks them in place. If your looking for more diversity and damage go with the first build.

I haven't tried winter born but people say its lackluster. I want to though when I get all the pieces and traits in the slots I want.

Frost staff is a lot of fun but it slows down game play to much for me. It's like slow and steady wins the race. I prefer playing more fast paced. These builds work best in group play.

If you don't want to use monster helms you could substitute willpower and monster gear for spinners or winterborn. Or you could substitute overwhelming for spinners/winterborn but miss out on extra proc dot damage for stacking aoes.

For cps I invest 100 in elemental damage, 12 in elf born and the rest in shattering blows. You could put the rest in thurmaturge or spell pen if your not keen on shattering blows.
