PROPOSED FORWARD MOMENTUM CHANGE

Forward momentum currently gives:
  1. Major Brutality for 33 seconds. (Rank IV)
  2. HOT of around 1k every 2 seconds depending on stats for 33 seconds. (Rank IV)
  3. Immunity to roots and snares for 8 seconds. (Rank IV)

The proposal I have is to also add major sorcery for the 33 second duration.

People may be confused as to why I would request this proposal. It's simple, a snared magicka build is usually a dead magicka build. Especially Magicka NB. This Change would give Magicka builds a way to gain Major sorcery, while avoiding snares at the cost of stamina. Also, it would greatly support hybrid builds that rely on trying to stack both spell and weapon damage.

Let me know what you all think? Too strong? Or just not worth the effort?

Not a bad idea at all, but I actually would prefer that ZOS delete Major Sorcery and Major Brutality and replace them with one buff that increases the power of your weapon(s) by X% (same mechanic as Nirnhoned weapon trait).

This would be equally desirable for both magicka and stamina characters and would be a nice step toward hybrid build viability.

Hybrid builds suffer from still having to specialize in either stam or magicka. What they should do is make a set that gives you an additive combination of spell power and weapon power instead of the greatest of the two, and also implement your idea.

That's not a bad set idea, they could implement my Major Buff idea and then just change Pelinal's to your additive idea.

Well it is unusual, though who would really be willing to give up rally? Why have Two hander as magblade? Hybrid dreaming is fun, but I don't know that it'd be worth much. Degeneration basically does this for magicka, no? I'd like to think most magblades are vamps, unless for RP reasons, and I use (>)elusive mist, and my stam regen is enough I can usually get 3 dodged rolls if I need to.

I almost morphed to this on my stamsorc, thinking I get enough alternative heals and crit surge that it might be fun to try... but rally... it's like a habit. I haven't quite vetted out my stamsorc though, so maybe I just give it a try. No one uses this morph so it is worth testing.

Also since no one uses this morph, (at least no one mentions if they do) it's worth brainstorming ideas.
Looking for broken things in hopes they may be fixed. I've given up, my game literally works differently from yours.

Or we could add a new buff
Major balance- take no damage from proc sets for X seconds

You could just use the ability and find a source of major sorc somewhere else?

You could also just use Shuffle everytime your cc'd with unchained cp passive 80% less cost.

Why not implement the old mechanic and let it increase your weapon damage by an additional 1% every 2 seconds this would give it more damage and you would have to decide if you want more dmg or a good burst heal

Or give momentum the burst heal and rally the HoT + burst heal while forward momentum gives snare immunity and a burst heal but no HoT. This way both morphs will be used.
Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

The 2H passives increase spell damage in the same way the DW passives do, however DW (usually) wins out because it allows you to fit an extra set bonus in. This change would give magic users a good range of choices: destruction staff for ranged damage, restoration staff for healing, DW for close-range damage, sword and shield for defense, and 2H for a mix of close-range damage and defense. I'm all for the changes.

    @Wrobel pls

With the amount snares and immobilize in the game, I don't mind anything that introduces some sought of sustained immunity to snare. It's far too easy to snare or immobilize players. Fear snares, fossilized roots, trap roots, mines root, heroic slash snares, vampire's bane snares, Talons roots, caltrops snares, ice staff snares and roots. There isn't a build without a snare or immobilize. Yet the options to removes them are so limited. We need more options. Only templars have a viable, cost effective option. #stamplarOP
