Yesterday afternoon, we completed an update to the ESO patcher. If you already have the patcher open, you’ll receive a prompt to update it. Otherwise, it will automatically update the next time it’s launched. You can view the patch notes for this update below:
- The realm selection list on the patcher will now just list “The Elder Scrolls Online.” Both the North American and European megaservers are accessed by selecting this option, and you can choose your preferred server in-game.
- Your computer will no longer reboot during the mandatory update for the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
- If you are downloading Update 12 for the first time and previously had played on both realms, all EU-related game data will now be removed from your machine after the game update is complete.
- Your default region will now be properly set after downloading Update 12.
- Fixed an issue where you could be repeatedly asked to update Microsoft Visual C++ when opening the patcher.
Note: We’ll be re-adding a server status indicator directly on the patcher in a future update.
