Shadow cloak and DoT's?

When a nightblade vanishes in the middle of the combat ( :# -) all of the damage over time applied to him MISS. I just see MISS MISS MISS instead of dealing DOT damage. Is that supposed to happen? In shadow cloak tooltip there is no mention of canceling dots. It kind of pisses me off because nightblades can go invi any time as many times as they please.

Yes that is supposed to happen. But dont worry, over time you notice half the skills (intentionally) removes them from cloaking and second half (unintentionally) too. So when you see nightblade who managed to run away from you its 50/50 your mistake and his luck.

Thanks for the replies. So basically, a Nightblade can hide his blood cells from the poison that was running through his veins prior to the vanishing. Poison gets confused, MISSES few times, gives up and leaves the system. Sounds logical. Why I didn't think of it earlier. Genious, Zenimax.

it's suppressed in the duration of the shadow cloak, not cancelled. Once out of shadow, the dot applies again.

    BTW, shadow cloak is bugged.
EP nb: ooxx your sis, Orc 2H/Bow, what you look at, never saw an Orc nb?

    LOL.

You should be grateful this is how it functions. In the past, Cloak would actually purge negative effects completely.

    It's magic.

DK's turn see through other than a pumping heat and heal wounds, how is that any more or less of a fantasy than a Nightblade suppressing poison?

As pointed out above, if a NB escapes from you using cloak then it's his luck and your failure. It's very very VERY easy to combat cloak alone in ESO. Most of the time it's a combination of Shade, Cloak and dodge rolls.

Only thing i can complain about it is when someone goes invs and you aoe on the spot a half second after and hit nothing and they go slink back into the LoS object like cowards. More annoying then broken, because if im within siege range of someone spamming steel tornado im boned.

Often that's because we've used Shade, other times it's because they managed to get maybe Double Take up (so Major Expedition) and/or have Concealed Weapon slotted. If you're using a short range AOE then that can get you out of the way, I always have trouble getting away from an AOE like Sap Essence though.

Shade or dodgeroll to a high speed cloak .

But OP, don't even hint at a nerf to cloak lol seriously it's a miracle when something doesn't pull nbs out of it. And the vast majority most certainly cannot cloak infinitely. I can't even do that with my current setup on a magicka build. Detect pots are your friend. Make them. Use them. Love them.
