Rules to dueling

If someone doesn't want you to cloak, proc set, etc but challenges you to the duel no terms discussed then feel free to use whatever is in your arsenal to annihilate them. Complaints after the fact are just sour grapes.

How do you LOS with mines? Or do you mean you put mines down and then LOS behind a tree or rock etc?

I mean anything goes, but usually duels are in an open area, so it's a bit weird if someone keeps running far away to LOS behind a tree.

Only thing for me is LoS. Because it always gives advantage to the mobile class. Duels should be in the open so you can't hide everytime things go bad for you. If ZoS actually made it so that you can counter Cloak- major speed buff - hide behind tree etc on every class i'd be fine for me. Being a templar makes it almost impossible, especially now that blazing spear has no stun anymore.

Cloak is still broken in combination with Incap imo but that's a whole different subject.

Other than LoS I don't care what you use in a duel. If you use resourse potions i'll slot them too.

Rules are stupid. Only in game rules matter and there are none, i ain't changing my setup because some nub doesn't like pots or pets or cloak.

Having Ulti dump etc if in game would be fair. But untill ZOS do it i ain't doing it, its all part of yo strategy

That's why I think dueling sucks. It's always a rock-paper-scissors with your builds and skills. You counter him and he counters that. That counters you. Whoever has the best counter class, skills, build or cp will win. Which means nothing.
