Sats in Azura

What sort of stats to people run in Azura without CPs? I've been playing with my Azura build a little this week and it's always much harder to get the right balance.

I've been playing with NB Destro staff and sit around 1600 magic regen, 32k magicka, 2050 spell damage and 21k health.
I have trouble adjusting that without finding my regen suffering but it lacks easy burst.

If I swap to magicka DW I sit around 1400 regen, 35k magicka and 2500 spell damage, fairly easy to buff that to 3k with 19-20k health.
I don't run this much anymore.

If you played ESO before CP the builds you would run on Azura are quite similar.

Regen is a go to for non CP campaigns, as you have no outside source of getting resources back. All of those lovely CP you put into reduce cost, regen and more resource return on L/H attacks is gone.

My best advice is to build regen/reduce cost first, then build for damage. Personally I run 2k Magicka Regen on any nonCP camp. Even with that and very little reduce cost it's difficult to down multiple enemies at once.

I agree actually, I'll considering slotting some more regen. I run Seducer as a Breton so I run a fair amount of cost reduction as well as regen mundus.

I remember a week ago someone moaning that me running Seducer in PVP was useless, totally unable to understand that I a) have just about every magic and stamina damage set so if I wanted to run something else that worked I would and b) that you have to think differently on Azura's because magic builds don't last long without regen without CP points, I've run high damage builds there and it just doesn't work for me.

(plus I was 30 solo kills to 1 death so I wasn't actually doing badly anyway!)

I run Seducer in CP and nonCP campaigns a like. Damage sets are nice but you run out of magicka too quickly against anyone with half a brain. If the person that told you Seducer is useless is only killing lowbies and potatoes then yes of course damage sets are better. This person must never fight anyone that's any good.

Random question but what's your spell damage and magic amount when you sit at 2k regen?
