Passives during Ultimate

Are all Passives supposed to work while an ultimate is activated?
In overload you can't gain ultimate from killing daedroth. It's a Passives and should work no matter what.
In werewolf form you can't gain ultimate from nightblade Passives from drinking a potion.

✭✭✭✭✭You cannot gain any ult while in WW form, I thought you could still gain during Overload but only from heals, been a while since I used Overload in a way that I would have noticed0 -

That's the strange thing though. I gain 3 yesterday in werewolf and 6 a few days ago. But what about other passive. Like adrenaline rush?0 -

I had my WW at 6 too. What I THINK happens is: say you Light attack a lot, the ult doesn't immediately build up but takes a few secs (like heroism). In that moment you go into WW, but that timer hasn't finished ticking and is still on the stack (mtg terminology) and then resolves while in WW form. Kinda locking in that small amount of Ult.

✭Its a lag bug that allows you to gain ult with light attack buff in WW form, you only get a few...nothing to write home about0
