What is your favorite Covenant zone?

defunct122216
If you have played all of the Covenant zones, which of them is your favorite? Personally, Rivenspire was the best for me and the Alik'r culture got me so mad, I just wanted to tear my hair out. You are faced with an undead invasion, and you cling to religion while your family is struck down? What?

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I know that this is about DC... but.. ahem... Razum-dar would definitely contest that "nicest" character. Or did you mean sexiest? In which case, yes, Razum-dar. Verandis can keep the "nice guy" title. :)

Raz is cool, Verandis is nice. I did mean "nice" as in "nice" (friendly, kind, caring, etc) xD
Indaenir comes close, but I pick Verandis as the nicest in the end because Indaenir is nice by nature, while Verandis could have been terrible as an original vampire.
And sexiest? That would be my Elam Drals, excuse me.

    1. The outlaw den is conveniently located next to the wayshrine and traders. And the guards don’t seem to care about it.
    2. The lack of trees and vegetation keeps the tree hugging elves at bay.
    3. The heat keeps the nords at bay.
    4. The sand keeps the drugged out cats at bay.

Rivenspire is the only DC zone which I really like. For its beauty, scenery, landscapes, gloomy atmosphere and of course the STORYLINE!

Count Verandis Ravenwatch is one of my favourite NPCs in the game. Simply unforgettable. I really miss him...

And the entrance to the Crypt of Hearts is simply breathtaking, by far the most beautiful one among all the dungeons.

I wish the Doomcrag still had this amazing ray of light shooting into the sky before the completion of the storyline. It reminded me of the tower of Barad-dûr from the LotR trilogy

I'm still torn between the Alik'r Desert and Rivenspire, but I loved the scenery in the Alik'r, not so much in Rivenspire. The great expanses of desert, the culture, the quests, LOVE IT! The only thing I really liked about Rivenspire was the storyline and of course Count Verandis Ravenwatch. Only time I ever shed a tear during the game.

I had to pick Rivenspire, it's in my top 3 zones in the entire game. But I love Stros M'Kai too: the sand, the pirates, the adventure, the treasure hunting. Easily my favorite starter island. An honorable mention to the Alik'r for the scenery. I like deserts, what can I do.

Favourite region in Covenent territory? I'd have to go with Rivenspire as well, but only regarding the quest line as I personally can't stand the scenery.

If we're talking about High Rock in general I love how the Wrothgarian Mountains have appropriate environments depending upon the altitude; having lush woodland in the south-west of the region, rising to rugged moorland and ending with snow-capped peaks in the north-east. It really gives a sense of being on a steady gradient.

I chose Glenumbra' but to be honest I like every zone from DC.

It has (my opinion) the best looking starter island(s), nice green lush forests in Glenumbra, eerie towns and vampires in Rivenspire and an awesome finale in Mount Doomcrag and I loved Alik'r Desert.

For me also DC has the best area stories and I love it's medieval settings.

If player housing comes, it will be hard to decide for me between Glenumbra, alik'r desert and Rivenspire (I lean mostly to Rivenspire since I am a vampire also).

I got attached to Elam because of how we get to know him. It is something gradual, that happens through smalltalk, unlike with the rest of the DB characters. This doesn't happen a lot in this game, just having an NPC tell you about themselves, their experiences and tastes. And it happens with a repeatable quest giver, of all kinds of NPC. He has something to say about every unique contract, and that gives us an insight on his personality. I kill people to hear that mer chuckling.

But Naryu is super fun. I expect her to show up in Vvardenfell too. You probably will have more luck on this than me, although I hope Elam will show up eventually too.

Back to the Covenant, we have Darien (#SaveDarien2k16/7) and Stibbons too. Lots of interesting and fun quests. Overall, I find the Dominion quests more consistently good (but I love the Bosmer, so I'm biased), but the Covenant has some of the best quests in the game.
