Taken as normal in ESO...Would be weird in real life.

What aspects of ESO that are taken for granted as being normal, would actually be really weird in real life?

Well, lots of things, I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly.

Not sleeping, washing, going to the toilet, never feel hot or warm... but that's just "unrealistic", not "weird"...

I had thought about everyday clothing having levels.

Imagining shopping for clothes. "Why don't you try on that dress? It looks very stylish."

"Oh, unfortunately it is made of silk and I am not high enough level to wear silk apparel."

"Ok, I guess we are stuck with linen and cotton options."

I did think of those kinds of things. They feature in other games like "The Sims" but I see there would be a danger that it would get tedious having to take time out to look after those things. It might still be acceptable for characters to be tired or hungry.

Sleeping worked in single player games because the time of the world only had to take into account one player. It could still be possible to have characters retire to sleep at a player house or inn when logging off to get a refreshed buff when they awake. It might even encourage players to take healthy breaks.

Going to the toilet has not featured in Elder Scrolls games that I know of. I have never even seen any outhouses or other facilities associated with it. I think I might have come across a bed pan as a lootable item though.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one side I think it would be a lot more realistic to only allow trained specialists to repair gear. At the same time I have a banker companion because it is really convenient.

This seems the common tradeoff: Realism vs Convenience.

I always found it odd that I can break into a person's house, kill 1 of the 2 people in there, rob the place, the proceed to make myself a nice meat pie or cup of tea on the fire; and the only thing ever said to me is that I shouldn't be there

Probably no more strange than the number of times I see an NPC happily going about their business while their own dead body from a previous version of themselves is lying lifeless on the ground. Shouldn't the body disappear when they respawn? Not that respawning happens in real life.

I also thought of how people run off then just disappear into thin air.

When you come to the store again the shop keep greets you with the same friendly response as if you weren't brutally murdered and stealing just before. Maybe even minutes before.

    Whatever. Clean record now.

I still wonder why all those Daedra seem to have so many Acai berries in crates. Do they have a use in some dark ritual? Maybe the Xivkyn are extremely health-conscious?
