Which crafted armor set is the best for PVP?

I mostly played PVE so far and my Redguard stam DK, damage dealer, with 2H/bow is running 5 Hunding`s range and 2 (+weapons) Nightmother`s gaze, 7 medium, infused/divines, all purple (getting gold slowly), 5 increase max stamina gold enchants/2 increase max health gold enchants. Jewelry I run Ravages robust, but am about to get Agility robust of course.

Which would be the best crafted armor for PVP?
Would it still be 5 Hunding`s range/2 (+ weapons) Nightmother`s gaze? But 7 impenetrable and let`s say 5 medium/2 heavy?Enchants the same I suppose.

It depends on your playstyle and what your aiming for -
Ganking, sustain, 1v1/dueling, tank, middle ground etc.

I'd say hundings rage is good pve but I personally don't rate it that highly in pvp.

    You mentioned 2h/bow:
Eternal hunt is good for this sort of build, I enjoy it. Can stack WD highly elsewhere.

For magic: kagernarcs hope, seducer, Magnus are good in pvp.

Black rose is a very powerful set, but it's not a crafted set. And it's a heavy armour set, you seem like your aiming for a medium armour build?

It's still without a doubt the best Stam DK PVP set. Any monster set would work with it.

I guess you could just re-craft all your same gear in Impen..

I play usually (how to describe it... :)..this is my first MMO, so I am not sure if I will categorize it right...) direct meele, sustain, stamina and yes, for PVE I play 7 medium for stamina bonus

sorry, what is the meaning of the abbreviation "WD"? did you mean WB (Wrecking blow)?or you mean something else?

Eternal hunt is a pure stamina bonus set I see, the 5 piece bonus is interresting, I like the weapon crit and weapon dmg bonuses of Hunding`s though. I amnot sure if it is better to trade if for max stam and stam regen bonuses..

but I am not sure if I want to trade the stamina bonus of Hunding`s for health bonus of Asheen.
And also Asheen gives 129 weapon dmg + 688 weapon crit, while Hundings gives 2x 688 weapon crit - could someone pls confirm if it is better to have weapon damage bonus or weapon crit? (I am very bad at math  )

yes, I know that set, but you have to have 5 pieces to get the bonus you are talking about :) and I don`t want to trade it for the bonuses of Hundings ( http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Hunding's+Rage+Set )

If you want pure crafted armor on everything bar jewelry, you can go for 5 Eternal Hunt and 4 Morkuldin. This is a flexible option with a pretty high regen, a strong 5p bonus, and enough bonuses for relatively high bonus damage. When it comes to traits, Sharpened for weapons and a fair amount of Impen for the armor (at least 4).

Avoid combos such as 5 hundings / 4 NMG, critical hits are not as relevant in PvP due to shields (crit immunity) and crit resistance. The reason we are using Impen is to mitigate the damage spikes we're taking.

If you ever want to go for DW or SnB on your front bar (and have either bow or 2H on back bar), you could go for:
    - 3 Eternal Hunt on the body
    - 2 Eternal hunt DW or SnB
    - 4 Clever alchemist on the body
    - 1 Clever alchemist on the back bar (2H or bow)
Swap to your back bar, pop a pot, swap to your front bar, kill stuff.

As already mentioned before, building for crit is not as relevant in PvP as it is in PvE, and even in PvE, weapon damage is usually the winner.

For armor weights, you have quite a few options: 5M/2H, 7M, 5H/2M or 7H. All have their strengths and weaknesses. If you rely more on dodging / kiting, you should head toward Medium, if you prefer to stand your ground, pick more Heavies.

There's more to a PvP build than gear alone, but this should be a flexible starter.

Clever alchemist is not magicka, it is both magicka and stamina. If you play in a group, it provides the strongest burst dps you can achieve in pvp. And pvp is nearly exclusively about burst damage.

On a stamina NB, I am running 5 clever alchemist, 2 monster pieces, 3 agility, and 3 leki (I know that's more than the available slots, but I can explain if needed.) Buff up right before hitting enemy players, and you put out very strong damage.

hi, could you please explain how you mean 5 Eternal Hunt and 4 Morkuldin? How can it be 4 Morkudin, when I would use the 5 slots with Eternal Hunt? There are then only 2 armor slots left, right?

You mean + weapons? And what about jewelry? Which one would you recommend?

And is this combination also good for 2H (main bar)/bow (back bar)?

The above suggestions were made with your setup in mind, so 5 Eternal Hunt on the body, 2 Morkuldin on the body, and Morkuldin weapons (in which case it's actually 3 Morkudlin and not 4 as I stated above, woops :o ).

You can stick to Agility for jewelry, but I didn't really mention it since you're focusing on crafted gear.

That said, it's only one setup, there are many more available if you're looking beyond crafted gear only.

    And one more question:

do I understand it right, that the more max stamina I have, the more weapon damage I can do?

I know that there are also other variables that come into that equation, like set bonuses and CP points of course, enchants, ...., but do I understand it right, that also max stamina increases it?

Except for NMG, case in which you need to build a lot of crit chance (since crit chance reduces armor)
