A Curious Experiment: EP ONLY

Have you heard of the Myers-Briggs personality test? It's a fun little test that my cousin, and I have taken, and it turns out that my personality type is INTJ, and his is INTP. This made me wonder if certain personality types aggregate to certain alliances (We’re both EP btw).

So here's the experiment:

If you haven't already, take the Myers-Briggs test https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test and see what your personality is. Then select the appropriate box.

The reason why there are only 8 options is because there are 16 personality types, and I'm limited to only 10 poll options. I did my best to pair the two most similar ones together though.

The purpose of this experiment is to see if certain personality types tend to aggregate to certain alliances or if we're really all just the same kind of people that happen to wear different colors.

Either way I hope you guys find this fun and informing. These polls could also be used as a reference for future players if they want to play with like-minded individuals.

@ZOS_JohanaB why move it into the Questing and Exploration forums? This one is for the EP zones, not players. Also, placing it in the PvP forums made clear that the focus was on players who play in PvP, while most of those won't even see the threads here.

This could prove useful to EP leaders, depending on the outcome. I'd suggest adding "post your type" to the OP's instructions. That would help the accuracy of the results. Side-note: lots of A types on EP so far o.O

Limiting this to EP may not accurately test if these personality types are gravitating to the faction, the game in general, or just more common overall. You would need to run this pole for each faction and get an equal pool, with some size to even begin to come up with an idea. Then you run into the problem of is it just forum goers, or are the results indicative of the entire population. I like the idea of the test and using it to get the answers you are looking for, just needs more control.

Edit: You may also want to look at personality types that play multiple factions.

I'm INTP. I think if you were to do this test on all 3 factions you would get similar results. A lot of the players who play online games probably have similar personality traits. I don't see how different personality traits would result in being on different factions.
