Yeah it's definitely my preference, but others enjoy using destructive reach after with something like soul assault or swallow soul/impale.

Haha awesome! Now's the time with the event going on :naughty:.

Yeah I wouldn't ever say to feel bad about it tbh. For the most part, I won't tbag anyone after unless they're someone that has sent hate-tells or tbagged me after zerging me down while not contributing to my death lol.

As for your question, I would say I'm successful 90% of the time meaning my opening combo wipes their health. 5% is me being greedy/stupid/or hitting the wrong person in the group if they happen to move quickly (I have issues sometimes where my heavy attack will literally fly in the opposite direction and so my lotus fan in is the only thing that hits my actual target lol). The other 5% are players that I end up finding out are well-prepared for gankers/have tanky setups. For those, I usually end up bailing if I can.

Off the top of my head, I can think of two people recently that gave me major issues, a super sturdy magplar that I'm guessing had radiant slotted and had great reaction time with heals, and a stam sorc that used hurricane and streak really wisely.

I tend to avoid sorcs that are good with keeping up shields, and if I go to gank anyone with major evasion up I am fully prepared to get out when RNG isn't in my favour and I just see dodge, dodge, dodge flash across my screen haha.

Haha thanks and you should! It was a really nice change, and death threats aside, I found it to be much more relaxing and peaceful.

Lol with that shieldstacker clip I found myself just counting out when at least one of his wards would drop then hoping for the best so it really could have gone much worse haha. Definitely one of the toughest sorcs on xbox.

Stoopid Nwah. Mostly in thornblade and skeleton key right now. Scourge and Haderus both kick me out every 5-10 minutes unless I only hang out in the sewers, so I tend to stay out of them.

I've never had issues with gankers in my PvP career. Of course, I have always used heavy armor with either reverb bash or fossilize on the ready. Plenty have tried, but maybe 1 out of 10 succeed. Of course, they get away, but I call surviving a gank a win.

Tried a medium armor build the other night and died twice to two different gankers back to back coming out of a keep. Nope. Back to heavy armor builds for me.

Either I am not grasping your point or you posted in the wrong thread.

Yeah heavy armour + higher hp can be a pain...I tend to avoid those guys lol. Fossilize was also a death sentence for me if I didn't bother to put up shadow image.

I don't gank anymore, but I will say it was quite beneficial; I am significantly more aware of when/where/how a ganker could attack. It's also how I got my grand overlord kill the other night haha.

Really I switched my woodelf to try this. Elegant Alchemist 1kena Maelstrom Ice staff(unfortunately) still hits 18-19k terribly geared.8-10k fantastically geared. Even from out of stealth works very well against Templar Tanks.

Ouch (about the ice staff). I still just have my inferno in precise and nirnhoned only, but recently got the lightning in sharpened and it works well with my new set-up. But yeah I tried out elegance and just ended up preferring the torugs+willpower for the times I needed to use soul harvest and concealed.

My highest heavy crit on a player was 25k lol. I got a super angry message from that one . Enjoy all the hate tells haha.

I was infatuated with the towns for the first 3 days when they came out, but I can't say I have been to one since (except for when a group needs a nb or two to go out and take it/flag it for strategic purposes).

I jump around campaigns a lot and haven't put on my ganking gear in over two weeks. When my ganking videos were made I was playing in Thornblade, Skeleton Key, and Scourge.

Plus, if you're a sorc that is great with keeping shields up, a super tank, or a stam user with 100% shuffle upkeep, chances are you won't ever see me if I start ganking again .

I run that, although I may try out your style as well.
Honest question though, how are you surviving on only 850 magic regen? Just hoping that 40k magic gets you through?

Yeah I think I tried that ranged combo with reach+impale once and it worked fine, just didn't fit my play-style (same thing happened when I tried out elegance instead).

Since those videos were released, I maxed out my undaunted to squeeze out just a bit more for max magicka, but for the most part it comes down to getting in and out quickly. If I end up in a situation where I have to fight, I'll be honest and admit it can get pretty rough. My survivability is very low, as is my regen (hence why I picked siphoning attacks for my siphoning skill on the front bar). The moment I realize I'm not escaping in the way I had planned, I'll put up siphoning attacks and wait for an opening to try to kill whoever it is I'm stuck fighting or to find a new escape option. Sometimes I can put up shadow image and draw the enemy away a decent amount then teleport and escape (to get myself out of stuff like caltrops, hurricane, or other aoes). Luckily though, I don't have to do this often.

Now that I have (for the most part) stopped ganking and instead run an open-world non-cloak build, I still find I'm comfortable with lowish regen. I sit right at 1200 with the atronach and 50,000ish magicka.

Why do you use the prismatic daedra damage enchant? Seems like a really bad choice ? Will only help you against vampires or werewolf in werewolf form. I would go with a regular fire enchant, for max damage on all targets.
    PC - EU
    Gromag Gro-Molag - Sorcerer - EP
Dexion Velus - Dragonknight - AD
Chalaux Erissa - Nightblade - AD
Firiel Erissa - Templar - AD

Because everyone is a vampire right now. Literally everyone lol. I did try out the flame damage enchant as I initially thought the same, but daedric works better.

Actually what I tend to do is land Swallow Soul after the heavy which outside of the DOT on Fan hits harder than Fan (on my tool tip at least) which is what made me interested in why you went with Lotus Fan. As I play on Azura (so damage is harder to get) I'll then follow up with Reach as the knock back can be the death of them.

I might try dropping my regen some and slotting out my Seducers, see what I can get from more damage and less regen.
