I guess they haven't communicated on update 12 today and that it will happen tomorrow.
Early next week?!?
Welp. Time to go searching the internet for articles since the info will likely get out before then
Hello all,
Zenimax invited me over to their event to talk about dungeons and I'd like to update you on some stuff that will be coming with update 12.
Dungeon overhaul. Dungeons will now be separated by story. This means that for instance banished cells normal will now get a banished cells veteran on the story of normal, and vet will get a normal version with the story of vet. This applies to ALL vanilla dungeons. So yes, that means VET vaults of madness etc etc.
-About 30 new monstermasks will be added to the game. Insane! (Although I migt be a little off on this nr)
-The pledge system will get a total overhaul. I know the details, but they didn't want me to reveal it yet. All I can say is that people without dlc wont be missing out on pledges anymore.
-No more alliance sepparation in pve.
-Scaling in all zones and areas.
-Complete craglorn rework. It can now be done solo or with a group of up to four people.
-Crown store random boxes that can drop previously limited mounts and other stuff.
-Old AA and Hel Ra sets are coming back.
This is ALL basegame patch and will not cost crowns or require a sub.

Oh well guess we're going to get there in 2017-2018
Here are the things I asked and wrote down and are maybe not in the videos:
All DLC pack will be in the Crown Store. It will be about 5500 crowns and it contains the 4 DLCs exapt Shadows of the Hist.
One Tamriel update will be a FREE basegame patch with an overhaul of all dungeons that don't have a vet mode yet. They will all have a normal and an extendet vet mode version. They will also drop the 17 new monster sets that have been datamind.
Crown Store: There will be "purely cosmetic" Loot Crates for about 400 crowns each. The chance to get items from the crates is based on how expensive/rare the items were/are. So lower chance for rare items and a chance you'll only get crap. All items that can be in there were or will be in the crown store before they get into the boxes. No exclusive items in there. They will talk about new additional active ability skillines tomorrow (I asked if they will add more weapon skillines. Did not get more info about this out of him)
- Items (potions/upgrades/xp scrolls etc.)
- Costumes/Personalities (Current ones/new ones and old limited time ones)
- Mounts and Pets (new ones that are currently in the store and old limited time ones even the ones that never have been in the crown store on console, they can also have mounts/pets from digital collectors editons. Excluded: Imperial Edition and eso sub reward mount/costume)
Players that use bugs/exploits on purpose (and not just for testing if its realy bugged) have been permanently banned. E.g. there were people that used the Salvation set bug to run Vet DSA alone 20 times or that did VMSA 50 times in one night with it.
Craglorn will be reworked for One Tamriel
There will never be pay to win in the Crown Store, they played BDO too and they hate what they did.
They reworked how low level player scaling in the DLC dungeons work, this fixes will be out with update 12.
Update 13 aka Housing you'll have training dummys in your yard. No open world dummys are planned because they have the problem of debuffs of other players on a dummy you want to test on. We suggested to add them anyway to not let everyone sit in their house alone, they will think about it.
Cleansing ritual giving cooldown on other synergy abilities e.g. Necrotic Orb is a bug and they will look into it.
They know LFG is still broken, they said they are "ashamed" and very sorry that the last attempts to fix it did not work. They are still working on it.

Lottery crackboxes should have existed since day one?!?!?!?!?

I'm gonna livestream the event tonight, but reading this topic really makes me overthink that again.
It's funny, the eso tavern was great! Absolutely loved it. Especially because all the forum heroes would stfu when a dev was actually in front of them. And there were no forum heroes there of course. Which made the tavern even better.

Should of existed? Most of this news would not have made sense when the game first came out.
I a little bit confused about 17 monster sets since number of dugeons without vr mode is far less than 17. Does it mean also new dungeons in future or maybe dungs will drop monster sets even on normal mode?

You'd be suprised to know if you were not in closed beta that literally all of he One Tamriel changes were suggested waaay back in 2012-2013. Literally all of them.
There's nothing other than loot crates that would've made sense. There were large groups who suggested there shouldn't have been a mandatory sub and all. It just proves that some of those closed beta guru's actually understand how to set-up a successful game better than whomever is making ZOS decisions back then.
-reworking Craglorn
-reworking dungeons
-not having faction PvE restrictions to content(there wasn't always a silver and gold zone)
-allowing sets to drop in specific zones always
-scaling NPCs (or the other way ZOS did it so ppl aren't stuck in a set order to play the world PvE)
-allowing items to drop at player level and not zone NPC level
-reworking set gear
-and yes even loot crate (minus real money) ppl asked that the chests actually drop real stuff. Open world and the old dungeon loot boxes that use to be very plentiful.
