Why are the camps in questing areas?

Who smart idea was that? Not everyone like pvp on here but those quest are great for leveling your guys. Now it's just groups that wait until it's capped then take over it. I get it ZOS you don't like solo players, but now it's harder than ever just to do the dailys. Keyboard warriors I don't care what you think. [SNIP]

Cause its cyrodiil and cyrodiil is meant for PVP

Cyro is meant for pvp hun. That is like pvp players getting mad that there is no pvp in the new dungeons.

It is a real drag to have all keeps surrounding Cropsford and have 12 EP sitting in Cropsford, and my naive butt thinking I can do a couple of quick quests... where the heck is AD??

Anyway, there are 3 quests areas with the camps, and 3 that do not. Granted the 3 do have farther distancest o travel to complete them, but they are there.

Fyi Some of us went to cropsford for quests and SMALL scale PvP, not another zerg camping spot. Oh well, OP i feel ya pain lol

While I like the additional rez points and I pretty much never PVE quest in Cyrodiil....ever....This was a thought that occurred to me, and I feel kinda bad for the people who just wanna quest.

But at the end of the day (sadly for you x.x) it's a PVP arena so not much you can do about it but attempt to PVP.

hate to break it to ya but lots of players take on 5+ players often, its not hard unless its in the middle of a field, in which case it does get hard without los

PvP area is for PvP. Quest at your own risk. I'd have no problem saying it to your face.

@zuto40 los... so you're saying unless you can use a mechanic that forces players to disengage so you only have to face one or none opponents at a time is your strategy to facing multiple enemies?

Aka you go 1v1 to face 1vX? So very helpful!

I do not use LoS as I feel it's at best resetting a fight, and if Im in combat, it's because I choose to be to see how well I could fare against my opponent.

Im not a ganker, I have plenty of AP my way, I have no need or want to resort to what in my opinion is, cowardly acts.

Edit: LoS is only acceptable when you are NOT the one to initiate combat and wish to flee

if you want to complete the quests because you are a completionist, i would suggest finding a PvE guild that does the occasional trip in to cyrodill & sewers for questing/fishing purposes, if you cant find one form your own guild, a small group of 'gankers' are less likely to attack a group of 24 (even if they are all recruits). not saying it wont happen, just saying your reducing the odds.

if you are running these quests for XP there are much easier methods to level a character/skill or earn CP.

for the sake of argument ill go with your statment that every los instantly means 1v1, doing 6+ 1v1s with no break and starting right after you kill one is still a feat, now normally los doesnt mean 1v1 everytime, it means 1v2, 1v3, los is acceptable for everything except an actual 1v1, as long as you dont cheat or exploit it is not cowardly

I will agree with the general idea you put forth there. And to not stray from the original point, you're still not facing as many enemies with LoS, and you are funneling both their attacks and yours, you attacking one area rather than multiple and/or facing attacks from one direction.

Next I do find it cowardly when someone attacks me in an open area, and when defeat looks unavoidable they run and LoS to try to either escape (which isn't too bad) or get some buds to join in (annoying as ever)
