BEST CRAFTABLE set for Magic temp PVP.........

I want to get into PVP and have most of my stuff researched......whats the best craftable set guys help a brotha out!

Depends on a few things. Most important is are you stam based or magicka based. What class are you running? What role do you want to play? What skills and weapons are you planning on using?

Kagrenac's Hope, all the way.

You get regen, magicka, health, and a good spell damage boost. Not to mention the Rez speed. Kag's and magplar are a match made in heaven IMO.

If you don't know, you can find its crafting station in the Earth Forge after completing the fighters guild quest line. 8 trait set.

I also think, "Kagrenac's Hope" is probably the most fitting for this class, especially if you are a team player.

On the other hand, I would suggest "Law of Julianus", because of it's bonus to critical spells, which is always nice to have in PvP (can't have too much of it). And it also grants a constant spell damage boost.

I am a magicka templar, destruction staff and resto staff, I would rather play a healer in pvp....BUT I want to be able to do damage too......any skills that wont get me ganked. haha

I made a CP160 Seducer set, all gold with Kuta CP160 enchantments, for my Breton Templar Healer on the week end, all impenetrable, and found I had good magicka sustain and had a lot of survivability in large Cyrodiil battles. Previously had a Kagrenac CP140 set that was not impenetrable and found I was squishy.

Also made Julianos set for my magicka nightblade DPS, which I hope to try out soon.

A Templar in a guild I am in has been running with Twice Born Star and really likes it. I'm not sold on it yet though. Like disintegr8 I have multiple sets of armor I carry on my Templar. When in a big group if I ma the healer I put on Seducers. It can also work to provide decent DPS but isn't going to be great. Other times I use Julianos. I'm loaded up on magicka and magicka recovery no matter what armor I am wearing so resources don't really become an issue unless I have to dodge a few times then stam goes out the window. Julionos I can do more damage and still have what I need to keep myself alive.

Kagernarcs, seducer, Magnus, all good sets. I don't reccomend julianos in pvp tho.
Amberplasm looks really solid for mag pvp characters.

If you want to craft all your gear, I would go 5 Kags, and 3-4 magnus. You are going to have to buy jewelry, willpower is the obvious choice, but certainly not the only viable one.

Nothing is "the best" I know peope who make any class look op.

Copy a build or two then tweak it to your playstyle.

Heavy kangeracs hope, 3 willpower with 1 weapon + shield and one jewellery (that way it is super cheap compared to willpower magicka jewellery) and transmutation 2 jewelery. Malubeth monster set and you are ready to *** of a lot of people

Krags! I was skeptical that this set was better then Julianos but once I tried it and saw how much harder you hit, I never went back. I still use Julianos for PvE because of the increased crit chance but for PvP its Krags all the way....with all impen.

On my templar for pvp I use 5 kagrenacs, 4 light, 1 medium, medium molag kena shoulder, light torugs pact hat, 2 torugs pact swords and torugs pact sword and shield, and 3 willpower. With patience, you can kill those irritating FOTM templars who all wear the same sets to 'try' to make themselves unkillable, because you will have much more damage and recovery than they do

Right now though, I am playing sorcerer in pvp because I am sick and tired of getting horrible whispers from people when I kill them accusing me of being one of these poisonous copy and paste cancer builds, even though I obviously am not

Don't be one of these people who make our class look bad by being sheep and wearing these sets, they are going to get our class nerfed into the ground because they are too lazy to actually learn to play templar properly and skillfully

Either 5 Julianos/Kagrenac and the rest in Magnus if your going all crafted. If you can't make Kagrenac yet then go with Julianos until you can.

I use heavy since the biggest loss from Light would be the crit chance and crit means very little in PvP. You lose some regen also but with the heavy passives you can ignore that

Personally use kags when going heals and support. Rez speed is op. Julianos is also outstanding for being dps and off healing.

If you're only healing and executing with radiant oppression go with heavy. If you want to go 1v1 or 1vx light is much better for damage.

Imo seducers is a crutch for players who don't know how to adjust cp and enchants to make those build comfortable for them. I'm fine in using 1300 magicka regen, potions, and the occasional resto heavy attack and in light armor. Some aren't. Try all purple sets first.

The problem is that this is what we're all wearing. We haven't had a single new armor set worth using in PVP since these two came out. It's pretty pathetic. Magplars would like to have some new armor sets worth playing with.

Currently using 5 Kags, 2 Malubeth on body, 5 heavy and two light. 3 Transmutation jewelry with dual Torugs swords on front bar and Transmutation sword and shield on back bar.
