Wanted to share and I'll create a ticket that the in-game sounds are waaaay to low.
Ticket# 160816-000834

I've tried changing my game settings in all sound categories but once I swap characters in other zones it's fine. Even the log in screen.
-I'm also sure I've completely downloaded the update.
I have a 87 Mb/s speed so it's been done for over an hour.

Is there a chance something sound related was changed with this update that could cause this issue?

@ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_DaryaK

*update*
It's related to being in voice chat. Seems the Game settings actually reduce all sounds by 80% due to console settings but it's not suppose to reduce sound all the time. It's only suppose to reduce sounds when someone else is talking and then bring the sound back up

This is a big bug as its only suppose to go down when someone else is talking.
No one is even in the channel(s)

Leaving the channel resolves for some characters but not all ....this but that is not how any other Xbox one game works.
What's different about your chat channels?

Characters impacted where sound does not go higher even after leaving channels:
Xbox One - NA
AD- Yuan Chai Nguyen

Can you adjust your audio setting within the actual game to help or within Xbox?

There are audio controls within the game but they are already 100%.
The problem is that whenever you enter any ESO chat channel, the game volume is lowered by 50%, 80% or muted by 100% all of the time regardless if anyone is in the voice chat channel or not.

This is something ZOS can change but it's frustrating as its a console wide setting so the intent is that the game volume play at 100% and when someone speaks, it lowers the volumes while they're talking automatically based on your console settings and then the volume automatically goes back up when they stop talking.

The voice chat volume stays at 100% or whatever in game setting you have
It's an awesome console feature but for some reason, the ESO performs in a way that seems to consider entering a voice chat channel as if someone is talking.

Sadly, I didn't even have a headset or Kinect plugged in. And no one was talking

    Shrug....

I have the DLC and have not experienced any of the audio issues you are talking about.
