Starting to wonder why I gave this game another chance

Came back a month ago.
1 I have no audio in voice chat, done every check possible, waiting on design team now
2 I just spent two hours crashing my way out of elden root, missing the fence rollover, now my theft is maxed for all day tomorrow
3 just got billed for eso plus, and guess what? No crowns again. Just wtf

With no word of compensation to Xbox players, hell, without even a damned apology for this ***, it pisses me off. Such a great game, but it is only playable about 60% of the time.

This may wind up being my second hiatus from the game, and might well be permanent this time. What a shame, they created such a great game, just no idea what they are doing in QA.

Give it a little bit more of a chance with the dlc coming soon. It's small in content, but contains a lot of fixes. Pc players claim there are performance improvements.

I mean, I'm on board with you. I took a break at the beginning of thieves guild and came back a few weeks ago only to be disappointed. My problem is with the classes imbalance. I play mostly magicka types

Why not stay for a little while and see if they try to make things better.

It is what it is the game has been in shambles since at least Orcsinuim and its been worse every patch I would say if Shadows of the Hist DLC dropping on the 16th doesn't fix your issues then quit the game ill probably be doing the same. I disconnected about a dozen times today in about 4 hours before playing something else.

Yeah, I'm trying to hold on, since I do really like the game. The complete lack of communication is making max level hard though. I have no way to ask or deal for gear and equipment, no way to talk to guilds, very frustrating. Getting crash locked in high traffic areas sucks too, crashed trying to leave Elden root, then crashed two dozen more times trying to move out of the area.

I do like the game so much though. I'm rooting for ZOS to get it together, but I'm quickly losing faith in that happening. We'll see what happens after the next patch I guess.

Yea, ZOS really needs this next patch on the Xbox to be its Jesus Patch. The few times they did come down from the mountain to talk with us lowly Xbox players we are told told that it will be the patch to fix it all.

I've got thousands of hours in on the XB1.
I quit playing about a month ago.
I log in every weekend to pay guild dues and check the game's "performance".
This next patch had best untangle the current mess or I'm done.
Sad but true.

Ok, logged out of game because I'm too drunk to play for tonight. Too drunk to post anything and not be a nasty ***, so done on here for today too.

Here is a not so silent prayer to Sithis for the patch in the morning to fix all my woes, or at least enough of them to make it somewhat playable again.

me too I really hope ZOS gets it together cause its been almost a year now if they can't get it right now they probably never will.

They've noticed spitting out new DLC every month that screws up the game is more profitable for them than actually fixing stuff so don't get your hopes high. ESO is the only game where instead of feeling rejoice for the upcoming patch, you should fear it.

Well, still no audio in voice chat, not a huge surprise. I guess I can now use text chat that no one will have turned on except spammers and idiots. Yay.
Guess I'll see tonight when more people are on if stability has gotten better, but without chat sound, I can't see myself sticking around much longer. <sigh>

It might be because ZOS doesn't understand how to update their game settings in cooperation with Xbox one.

If you have your Xbox one settings to reduce or change sounds when someone chats....ZOS has programmed their game to reduce sounds 100% of the time that's you're in any chat channel

Try changing you're actual Xbox one settings to see if this adds sound back.
It shouldn't be this way but it's what I noticed is the current issue as of this update along with other outstanding sound issues that remain.

Thanks for the suggestion newblacksmurf, already tried that. Was on the phone with Xbox support for two hours, troubleshot everything on their end. Also tried everything ZOS tech support had. It's really up to the design team at this point, my faith for a cure is quite low at this point though

What really sucks is I have put a lot of money into this cash sink, and there is no way to get any of it back. M$ views it as any other game for purchases, not as an ongoing investment. It sucks to walk away from all that money.
