Set combo for pvp tank-?

Curious if anyone has tried utilizing Fasallas guile and reactive.

Setup: Imperial Templar

0 mag, 0 stam, 64 health

5 Fasallas -3 jewelry / belt / gloves

5 reactive - chest / legs / HELM / shoulders / boots.

Mainly want reactive (or any covenant style chest/helm)

Sword and shield would be clever alchemist (single health bonus for 2 set)

Blazing shield would be the priority of this build.

I'm looking for opinions and possibly actual experience with these 2 sets combined. I understand tanks are frowned upon with this current meta and I'm hoping I can gather the input of other tanks that stand in the face of the opposition.

Obviously this build would not be utilizing Malibeth 2 piece. I haven't gotten much further due to not playing currently. In the mean time I was hoping to gather some decent conversation, no flame please. I'm not here to bash anyone for any certain reason. We all play how we choose and enjoy ourselves.

@Gottbeard any insight from you? Not sure if you'd even comment due to your recent video. Hope things work out for you, inspiration is real!

I created a nord Templar character purely for the blazing shield.
Yes it's fun at first but not sure what it is but for me personally I felt like when in pvp I'd rather be on a different character.

I think @Gottbeard released a vid a few months back which is what I based my build off.

Sword and board X 2 both Clever Alch
4 fasallas (or set of your choice)
1 piece Clever Alchemist
2 free monster slots available - he advised you can go 2 X health monster pieces. Or you can use blood spawn, Maulabeth, I used Valkyn when tank in dungeons.
2 piece Endurance jewellery
1 piece jewellery Fasallas (or set of your choice).

Is a very fun build but the resource was a problem. Could hit 60k max health though.

I've used the video you speak of, that's mainly where my fascination came from. We can't speak of actions ZOS takes on other people so Im not sure if he'll even respond.

I've read some of @Baconlad 's information. I'd love for some more input. I guess it really comes down to what I want out of my build. A simple answer would be to halt zergs and allow dps to drop preoccupied players. I've always started something and built upon it.

Currently in cyrodil I have 64,5k health with my setup. I'm willing to drop health for more raw resistances and dps but still maintain tank capabilities.

Weesacs

PvP templar tank here:

2 x Malubeth (lord warden, blood spawn and guardian also work however malubeth is the best IMO)
5 x Reactive
5 x Transmutation (fasallas also works)

All health enchants except jewelry which should be reduced blocking.

All attributes into stamina. Cp points into reduced blocking and run defensive posture for more reduction. SnB both bars. Transmutation and armour traits will allow u to hit crit cap.

Keep your buffs and HoTs up at all times for u and your team (vigor, extended ritual, rune focus & purifying light) - all these skills can be cast while perma blocking. Spam purifying light on targets. Heavy attacks and potions to restore stamina. Use breath of life when things get sticky. Radiant magelight to reduce stealth damage and stun from NB and to flush out hidden players. Immovable brute for reduced break free cost.

Also use repentance when dead bodies are lying around you to restore health and stamina to u and your team.

Lastly use war horn for more resources for u and your team when available or use empowering sweep for reduced incoming damage.

I personally prefer perma-blocking to spamming sun shield with a large health pool - can stay alive much longer to help buff and heal your team (I have about 30k health, 20+k stamina and 15k magicka).
