Okay so I finished two stamina builds and I am having so much trouble playing them. My R.Vigot heals me for 5800 in PvP (11600 in PvE) but for the life of me...can someone explain to me how I can get a player down to 5% health, they pop Vigor and within three seconds they are at 50% health again?! And also, I have Shuffle on, Vigor on, but I dodge NOTHING!!!! So am I doing something wrong or does RNGesus just hate me?
Yes I know it's a L2P issue, but how can I L2P if no one will help? Could really use some advice.

Oh definitely lol. Man I'm starting to wonder if I was meant to play stamina builds. My whole game has always been Sorc, then I went to MagBlade but ever since the updates buffed cup stamina I made a Stamblade and Knight, but I just cannot seem to do what everyone else does! How does your Vigor heal for 22k? I'm not sure what I am doing wrong!

it winds up healing for closer to 45k because crit heals.

it's as simople as high wd/max stamina, major mending, impowered greatsword, and a few points into quick recovery,

be sure your jewelry and armour has good enchants on it, robust wilk sure help. I do like hindings rage, as the wd buff also helps with your self heals.

Well here's my builds right now:
    My StamDK build is
5x Twice Born (Impen & Well Fitted)
    5x Marksman (Robust Jewelry, Impen)
    1x MK
    Atronach/Serpent Mundus
    Frothgar food

I use Atronach to always have wings available, the Red Dragon Blood.

    My StamBlade is this:
    5x Dreugh King Slayer
    5x Hundings Rage
    2x Maelstrom Axe
    2x Leki's Focus
    Shadow Mundus

    5x hunding
    2x kena
    3x agility
    2x leki
precise bow of will power warrior mundus

I've got 63% crit chance, w/ major brutality I've got 5025wd and 38k max stam.

I actually did a vso run where I used healthy rings, 2h/dw and ran stalwart guard on the healer. only died twice. Ajd that was on osara because I had a lazy teamate.

Then I have no idea what I'm doing wrong!
My stamDK is a Redguard, running a Bow/2H build.
The other build I have on him is this:
    5x Morag Tong
    5x Marksman
    1x VMA Greatsword.

Without the food, his max stamina is only 27k! How is this possible with a Redguard?
    His stats are this:
    Stamina: 27k
    Health: 16k
    StamRecov: 1600
    WD: 3670
    Critical: 34.5%.

Am I focusing too much on recovery? All my builds have large recovery to stay in fights, but like I said, no matter who I fight, I always lose since they seem DODGE RNG everything or get a 100% heal somehow! I am so lost. But on all my Magic Builds, they're max magic is always close to 40k without food! WTF AM I DOING WRONG!!!

It took me 2 months of hell to go from a magicka sorc to stamina. I played stork, stamblade, stamplar. Now I love it and will never go back to magicka. There are too many stam mechanics to be missed out on.

my learning build was similar to the following:
drop the 5th piece on marksman/morag tong and vMA weapon. run 3 piece endurance and enchant with stamina recovery glpyhs and dodge roll a lot until you handle lower health and stamina recovery. also use blue food to compensate for stam. or do whatever you want. I'd focus on damage mitigation and 2h attack weaving.

Well your Stam Dk build isn't good twice born isn't that good in PVP especially with those mundus. It only really affective with Shadow and thief.on your stam DK and stamblade run this 5 hounding 3 ability 1 kena 1 blood spawn. Is the go to setup with Maelstrom 2h and bow.Right now your gear auvks on your DK and is decent on your NB.Also flurry sucks in PVP use 2 leki if you want go to DW weapons.Your going to need sustain so go serpent and bloodspawn.

@Jaronking @l3alls Thank you guys. I actually went back to my StamBlade and made a few changes and actually did better in PvP. I ran 5x Hundings, 5x Marksman, 1x Kena with Warrior Mundus and actually did decent. Got a few kills lol.
I swear, it seems that my Evasion never dodges a damn thing. Ugh.
I would run Agility, but holy Talos those pieces are hard to come by. Ive played since console release and only found 1 set. They run around 200k for rings and 90k for necklaces on console. And farming Teeth and Claws aren't as easy as Ether and Shards.
Hey call me crazy but I have a question. Are StamDKs really good, but not as good as StamBlades? It seems they lack a good spammable?

is your gear v16/enchanted at least purple? also is your jewelry robust? that makes a bdig big big difference.

most people wear impen crit and crit d,mg arent that spectacular. Id go warrior because it'll raise your base damage AND heals. also weapin damage enchants on your weapons wilk be good.

I recomend bloodspawn+kena for the added recovery. Also how is your cp distribution?

at the very least you could run max health/stam recovery food amd stilk have 32k stam

@Ep1kMalware I actually redid my stamblade build and am currently running this:
    5x Hundings (4 Impen)
3x Agility (all robust, weapon damage enchant)
    2x Morag Tong (2x Well-fitted)
    1x Kena (Impen)
    Warrior

    32k Stamina
    1100 Recovery
    3700 WD.

I always make my gear purple, never saw a point in making it gold lol. All jewelry is Robust, and weapons have Increase WD enchants.

Also, I did some looking on YouTube at some builds and all used Resolving Vigor, and NO ONE had a Vigor that healed for 22k over 5seconds. All were between 9-12k.

a vigor that weak would drive me nuts. I just fot to work, but I'd love to show a screen shot kf my vigor when I get a break.

golding out hundings makes very tlittle difference, but enchanting them makes a huge one. if you are kn ps4 I can s3md you some purple enchantments for free.

did you yellow out your weapons? that adds well over 400wd

I gold my VMA weapons lol but not the weapons of my sets yet. Only because I'm still working out bugs with the sets seeing which combos I like best, so not to waste my tempers.
Man I still don't know how you get a 22k Vigor! I actually did the EXACT SAME SET UP AS YOU DESCRIBED EARLIER and I still only got 11k Vigor.

TBS set can be great, but only with thief/shadow mundus buffs. The only point to it really is to get the extra crit chance and the extra crit damage from the mundus buffs - and it can work great with that, when you have 80/90% crit chance and every time you crit you get even more increased damage it's awesome. Using it for other mundus buffs is missing a trick. IMO.

ive found it really only performs good in raid settings where you have nice group buffs with high uptimes. for vmsa/dailies I prefer hundings/warrior. damage seems more evened out and self heals are much better.

    warrior+hundings =about 720WD for me.

there's pros/cons for everything. I love both sets.

Good lord! Hey, I see you're using a Maul? I made my Maul Sharpened and put CP into Piercing to maximize Penetration (giggity). Am I wasting CP and should have made the maul Powered to maximize healing? On my Nightblade, I am running:
    5x Hundings (4 armor, 1 bow/1 Maul)
    2x Morag Tong (2 armor)
    1x Molag Kena
3x Agility (robust w/ weapon Damage enchants)
    Warrior Mundus
    Wood Elf
Seriously, my stamina is around 37k with blue food
Stamina Recov around 1100, 1900 with Wrothgar food.
I still only have around 11k vigor.
I have 100 into Mighty, but none in Quick Recovery. How do I have to DOUBLE my vigor heals?

****WAIT. DOES THE FACT THAT MY VIGOT IS AT LV1 WHILE YOURS IS AT LV4 MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE AS WELL?***

Also, with the TBS set, I wanted to run the Atro/Serpent Mundus with my DK to be able to maximize Wings and Coagulated Blood heals partnering with Major Mending and Rally and Resolving Vigor. I would lose around 129 WD by doing so. And rocking Frothgar, my MagRecov would be around 1500, Stam recov around 2000 being a redguard, and max health at 17k, stamina at around 32k.
    5x Twice Born (4 armor, 1 maul, 1 bow)
    2x lekis (2 armor)
    1x Molag Kena
3x Agility (DAMN IT!!!! NOW I NEED MORE GOLD LOL) can I replace this set with anything for now? Like I said, agility is ridiculously pricey.

my toon is a bosmer stamina templar. It's not a maul (graphical glitch) but 2 sharpened lekis maces. I was doing dw/bow instead of piwered 2h/bow. both weapons are gold, and that is with kena/weapon enchants procced. I also have access to ,ajor mending. I'm not sure if your class has it but malabuth can give a 30% healing buff as well.

I donot believe powered enchantments stack but you could probably do 1 infused, and 1 sharpened. weaving light attacks will also help keep your proc up.

    I have 100 in mighty, 1 piercing, 66 thaumaturge.

55 ele def, 55 hardy, 27 thick skinned, 30 quick recovery (or was it 37 and 20?) Green cp is 100 into warlord and rest into recovery.

I use a lot of dots as well, blood craze/flurry/rally stacked with vigor is more than capable of regenerating a healthbar per sec, the key is keeping your buffs up.

if you have these heal dots active (and keep them active), it should ne rather easy to keep hp up in pvp esp with a dw/2h setup.

    Oh lol nice glitch.
Okay, yeah, NB don't have access to major mending, DKs do with C.Blood (hence why I would run TBS with drinks lol).
I actually saw the Biting Jabs and figured out something. When I fight a NB, I can kill them EASILY. But with a DK or StamPlar, the heals are REAL, now I know why.
Can you tell me what skill or passive stamplars have to provide major mending? I know I am asking a lot, but I need to learn stamina mechanics better lol. I love magic builds, but need to learn. And don't worry, I'm on Xbox NA, we'll never meet unfortunately lol.
I use a combo of burst/sustain. I launch a Focused Aim, then follow the arrow with ambush, and weave surprise attack. And if I don't get DODGE RNG'ed, then that's usually enough lol.
Ive never come across someone who used Dual Wield skills in PvP!

He is getting major savagery from somewhere. Either a potion or a skill like Evil hunter or in this case of a templar, from his Jabs. That plus Hundings and Precise weapons will put you in the 60's I think for weapon crit. He is stacking weapon damage with this build (it's basically a PVE build from a gear standpoint). Can be very effective, but I am guessing his sustain is not great. Not how I would recommended learning a stam class in PVP.

Even with major savagery, that still doesn't come out to 60%+ though. Not even close really.

    10% (base chance) + 10% (major savagery) + 6.3% (Hunding's) + 8% (2x Precise trait) + 12% (Perfect Strikes) = 36.3%

So that's why I was wondering what I was missing.

Yes, I forgot the medium armor bonus which is another 10.5% if you run 7 pieces. That still is only 46.8% though. Bow is another 5% which would be 51.8%. Is there something else I'm missing?
