Ok, so despite the server being full, one particular alliance has several guilds that log off right before the score is tabulated.
Even though they are getting clobbered they are winning.

That is garbage. There shouldn't be any population bonus anyway.
Cheap.

The low population bonus doesn't work that easily. You just can't dump your population and get the bonus a few minutes before the score updates. The population has to be low for some time before the bonus starts.

Population bonus just makes the top faction feel like it was a close battle. It's a fairytale. They should remove it.

I wasn't going to call out the Alliance, because i didn't want to take away from the point....
But it was Skull of Corruption, Aldmeri, PS4. We couldn't figure out how they had less in every category, but were getting 36 points to our 33 to be specific at one time. Yellow had essentially the same amount of resources/keeps etc as blue at one point and, blue was only getting about 2/3rd of what yellow was.
Then someone in area chat was talking who had a yellow character. (and no, I am not a fan of multi alliance players) and said the week before that was a tactic they were using.

You like to think it's difficult, and you can't just dump to get the bonus. But last evening something was going on around approximately 9pm ET. for a few hours.
