mDK gear question

So I just respec'd my stamDK to magDK for the first time ever. So my question is this... which is better for pvp 5h/2l or 5l/2h? I don't really care to do any 1vX. Currently I'm running 1 kena, 2/3 torugs, 3 willpower, 5 kagrenacs. 5h/2l dw/resto.

My next question is should I switch up my gear setup to 5 seducer instead of the kagrenacs?

With enough impen, both can be successful. Personally I run heavy when in a group and light when solo.

First of all I think going for the Undaunted Bonus is important, some extra Ressource Pools are always helpful, and you're not missing out on much.

If you dont care for 1vX as you said, you should go for 5 Light 1 medium 1 Heavy.

The reason is you lose out on a lot of Spell Penetration if you dont go for atleast 5 Light Armor, and 1m/1h for obvious reasons.

For Gear, I'd say you can use both. Personally Im fine running Kagrenac, but if you struggle with Ressources, you can of course use Seducer, too. As mentioned before, make sure you have some impen traits, its helping a lot with surviving.

Since you don't want to 1vX, I'm assuming you want to small man. Run something sustain like seducer or tava. If you have a healer, go with light, if you haven't got one, maybe run heavy depends on what you want to do

It all depends on what you want to do. Some of the most fun I've had in this game is being first in the breach during a siege with my heavy tavas favor + fasallas guile setup. Standing in bats or banner or corrosive armor spamming talons and deep breath taking a beating from the entire enemy faction, while my faction wipes them.

That's a lot of the draw of mDKs. You'll eventually carry around a bunch of sets because the class is so flexible. I can tank, DPS, and heal with a simple armor swap.

You could stay with Kags, or Magnus and Julianos. Currently I run 5 heavy 2 light with 5 Piece Tavas and 4 piece Julianos in BwB. But then again my build is about CC, sustained DPS and popping as many ultimates as I can for DPS. Seems to be working well for me in both 1v1 and 1vX
