New player looking for guild

Candurill
Candurill
Hey Guys :D
I'm very new to the MMO genre (although I have played RPG's, so its not ALL new to me) and I have NO idea how guilds work XD I'm not looking for a small and nice guild to just have fun with and to help each other out. I have no idea if I like roleplaying or trading or duelling guilds...I'm open to everything :)

I have two main characters atm;
Candurill, An Altmer Templar in the Altmeri Dominion. I like the support role in practically all the games I've played so thats why I took Templar...
Sham'a, An Argonian Nightblade in the Ebonheart Pact. I want him to become a vampire some day (I loved being a vamp in Skyrim and Oblivion...) and I was planning on doing the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quest-lines with him.

Lemme know if you guys think I might fit in with your guild, or if you have any tips for me :)

    We have over 300 members so it would be a ridiculously slim chance for nobody to have that or werewolf! haha :smiley:

    Check out the details of the guild on the thread and see how you like it :smile: Then just stick your tag there if you do as I rarely have time to check all the different threads.

    Yeh I can certainly see why it might look overwhelming just at first, we have grown at an incredible rate since the update. Lots of word of mouth it seems. But the great thing about it is that we do every discipline and have a strong backbone of people in each area so you'll always have good support in every aspect of the game.

    All in all, the foundations the guild is built on and the culture I've tried to develop in it is one which means we're in a great position to give players some great opportunities both small and large scale. When the guild was smaller there was a little pressure to say "ok if I dont turn up for this then it won't get done and will let everybody down".

    So in many ways its actually far less overwhelming once you actually break it down. Now theres more options available, it gives you more freedom of choice and far less pressure. :smile:

But the great thing about it is that we do every discipline and have a strong backbone of people in each area so you'll always have good support in every aspect of the game.

    The high level of activity also means that it makes it easier in many ways as you can pull together much more easily. For example, we could have a group running in pvp almost all the time so you know all you need to do is hop in chat and you've got yourself a group that you know well rather than getting pulled into a chaotic random group of players. Also you know you'll get in good groups for the 12 person trials because of a strong and consistent network of players. We are approaching a point now where we could have 2 trials groups running at the same time so theres a lot of opportunity there. Then of course just generally you will find you can get some really strong smaller groups to run in sewers or do a few pledges with so you have the smaller and quieter groups within in the guild.

    All in all, the foundations the guild is built on and the culture I've tried to develop in it is one which means we're in a great position to give players some great opportunities both small and large scale. That is very true... ^^ Is it a problem though, that I also have a character in the dominion? I mean I wasn't planning on spying (If thats even possible in any way) or anything, but i could understand if you guys wouldn't trust me in that XD

    But yea, my character in the pact is now lvl 10, so i still have some leveling and exploring to do :) thats my priority for now ^^

    Ha yeh spying has been an issue so we are very careful with that but at the same time we understand people do start on 1 alliance and then decide to switch. I myself was on DC originally. Got to level 20 and then realised most of my friends outside of ESO were EP. So I switched to EP. Buff and Jonwayne who you've seen on the guild thread for The Asaro also have max levelled characters on AD and switched over just for the purpose of pvp'ing with our guild as they enjoyed it enough for it to be worth it for them. :smiley: So I choose to be as pragmatic as possible about that.
