I would favor that if you are out of combat for longer than a minute, the shield gets a duration of 20 seconds.

Sure, I wouldn't consider magicka sorcs the strongest build atm, but I don't see how a longer shield duration would help them. Longer shields just allow you to be more lazy in easy fights, but they don't increase your damage output and they don't increase your survivability when you are actually taking a lot of damage within a short time.

I dont see a problem with sorc shields, shieldstacking and all that got a much needed "nerf" recently, its for the most part pretty alright now, only rly have a problem with healing ward spam.

You forgot the balance part:

On the triple duration: make the shields critable.
On the double duration: make shields non-stackable (major/minor system)
On the "keep shields the same": make dark deal an instant cast ability, so you don't need them.

All of these options are viable. Nobody want to go back to the OP triple stack mess we had before.

The problem with this pole is the fact that most people and i say most who choose" Do nothing with Sorcerer shields, there fine." do not play mage just have a look at the people who voted look at their other comments and you will see their posts are on "my templer build" , "my dk build" NB skills" ect they don't play mages as we do and they want us to stay weak and thus voting to get us nerfed these are the same people who probably cried to get us nerferd in first place cos and will keep on asking to get other classes nerferd when they get killed. and i hope if dev looks at this pole they will know who is voting.

And of course all other Dk,Temo,Nb do not wish us to have shields as before we were challenge for them and now we are well... not existent.

I wish there was a choise in this forum that shows your character and maybe time you played with ect thus removing trolls from poles and we can call them out on it no more hiding and trolling other classes.

On the WoW forum the trolls simply display a level 1 troll as their forum display character

Some of the worst trolls have an alt of your class they barely play but act like they've got 1000 hours /played
can't even bother to level their horse all the way

but seriously yhea that's the problem.

I am thinking and figuring out to make a stamsorc with medium armor twin swords ect but not enough stam ability and we loose allot of passives.



Its a shame as right now my mage is placed on the shelf untill things change or we get to figure things out and ive been in a way forced to play with magtemp which im starting to like allot jabs jabs jabs so maybe that is the answer , the population of mages has decreased now days when i see one streaking its like seeing a unicorn

grand dad " all is well... as their joy did not last for long seeing how they made mages weak , blinded by greed and lust of power they turned against each other and separately started praying to god Wrobel to make other race more weaker then theirs. They say few mages who have barley survived are slowly working in secret and waiting for their day to take their revenge.

I feel that sorcerer shields were fine how they were before. Perhaps they could have prevented the shield stacking issue that everyone complained about by allowing only one shield at a time or something... Many of my friends have a sorcerer as their main and it makes me sad that they are not enjoying the game anymore because of all of the changes to their class.They were fine how they were before, no?

I don't have much of a problem with my shields - but it's an unnessecary change and doesn't address the actual issues of shieldstacking and versatility.

Sorc Shields are OP and they still need to be nerfed!

Guys... my daughter could kill todays sorcs at the age of 3... u know why? cuz she can count to 5. Just saying.
