Dark Elves, DKs and Poison

I like the changes to the stamina DKs with the poison builds but rolled my Dark Elf for the fire damage, can we get and equal buff to poison as we do with fire?

If anything they should give Argonians a damage bonus with poison. It can couple with their healing received or just replace it.

I agree. Makes sense too being from Black Marsh and would make them sort of competitive. Their Passives just totally blow.

They'll never give Argonians anything useful. It's sad, but true. We must tell ourselves we're doing fine with increased swim speed and a passive with a 45 second cooldown. Wrobel thinks it's fair, so it must be, right?

That really sucks, I feel for you that you picked your race based on a class they later changed. They really need a race change option, even if it's very costly in crowns. Other mmos make a killing off of selling race changes, so it's a win-win.

And that said, if they do rebalance the races in some large way, people would want to either change to the race they wanted if it weren't for passives, and then others just may want something different anyway, especially if the racial bonuses go in a more "active/fun" direction.

One race out performing another race across the board is simply not a good model in a Fantasy MMORPG. I doubt we will get a good option, there are tons of players that are obsessed with racial advantages.

Well I have to say this is even better. I'll change my race to according to my faction and playstyle. Looks like problem solved though I hope argonians and some of the other races get some love.

I actually saw an Argonian try to use swim speed to escape a fight in PvP the other day. I thought well that's cool and shot him with a lethal arrow and poison injection. Poor guy.

Regarding swim speed, aren't there devouring fish in like, every tactically relevant body of water?

The swim speed is really cool though...in fact I like all the Argonian passives...but it says the Argonians in lore are some of the best Alchemists in the world and also immune to most diseases except for magical ones...these two things combined, plus all the weird ass plants in Black Marsh...I just feel it would be awesome if they had a poison damage bonus.

It would apply mostly to stamina builds I reckon...but it may boost poison mist from vampires, poison injection, poison arrow spray, plus all those dragon knight changes. Probably other stuff I forgot too.

Well, once upon a time the slaughterfish damage was applied differently and Argonians could in fact swim across most rivers in Cyrodiil. Apparently the devs thought this made Argonians OP, so they made the slaughterfish damage exponentially scaling instead of linear, so no more river swimming (except 1 or 2 places). Back in the day with the old slaughterfish damage I was in fact able to escape once or twice on my Argonian by swimming across a river.

Argonians should be immune to Slaughterfish. That'd be cool.

The Argonians are possessed of a cool intellect, and are well-versed in the magical arts, stealth, and the use of blades. They are also guerrilla warfare experts, long accustomed to defending their borders from invaders. They often serve as the scouts and skirmishers for the forces of the Pact.

This is what I read on the official game site back in beta when I made my Argonian NB and then 28 levels in I realized way to late there were massive difference in Racial passives by then I loved my Argonian and felt a bit jaded they got zero passives that supported the race lore. and FYI there was no racial description anywhere on creation screen.
