Combat Lag - Suggestions?

Granted...Lag is awful at times...but I am finding that in any large fights my FPS drops to 1 and ping is skyrocketing to the point my screen is just frozen...even mashing keys hoping for any kind of effect seems to be a lost cause as it just starts chirping the song of 'nope...nope...nope". Yet once lag clears...and if by good fortune still standing, my combat log shows incoming heals, some AOE effects taken and given, and lots of incoming attacks. Obviously other folks are able to move and cast and attack in that mass but the best I get is "stop motion" animation.

So...the question is...what do other folks do to function in the lag mess.
64bit or 32 bit client?
run low rez graphics?
Turn off add-ons?
Other?

Suggestions greatly appreciated...

I only have 1 addon installed, have a 78mpbs connection, changing my graphics has no affect to performance. This is on both clients, you do get sound on the 64bit though so there is a difference.

I still have input lag, health desyncs and sub par FPS and performance in Cyrodiil.

It's a problem with zos servers not your connection. Something about too much server load in high populated quadrants. Dunno ask Brian wheeler.

It's not a problem with the servers. It is a problem with the way the server handles the data from the client and processes a response. The servers are probably badass server arrays but you can have the best server on the planet however if it's load balancing and coding are processing poorly you get lag.

No suggestions on here from players would be valid without a firm understanding about how the game code is handled.
