I've been really getting into PVP recently, and it's given me a few ideas for new campaigns. I typically play in Haderous
and Azura's, and I truly enjoy the key differences in gameplay between the two. Here are some other campaign spins
I've come up with:
1. Vamps vs Werewolves (vs ???)- There's a few ways this could be done.
- 6 groups- Split up by type of monster and faction, all vying for control of feeding grounds: 3 werewolf; 3 vampire
- 2 groups- Vamps vs Werewolves, plain and simple
- By faction- Pact Vamps and Werewolves vs Dominion Vamps and Werewolves vs DC Vamps and Werewolves
- 3 groups, divided by monster type, with a new 3rd monster skill line- eg. Vamps vs Werewolves vs Manbearpigs
- Another idea I had along these lines was a 7 day campaign with Vamps vs WW vs Mortals—and by mortals I
mean non-monsters will truly only get a single death per campaign. If they are bitten by a Vamp or Werewolf,
then they can come back as one if they so choose. Otherwise they can only return as a Zombie. Zombies have
permanent minor expedition, Maximum Physical penetration, maximum spell and physical resistance
(Basically the equivalent of 100 points in hardy, elemental defender, and thickskinned, plus 32500
physical and spell resistance; I think this equates to 75% resistance), and they have their own skill
line with skills like Inner Darkness, Decapitating Strike, Biting Bites, Vomitous Breath, Critical Urge
for Brains, and Swarming Horde of the Living Dead (similar to WW skill line, these skills can only
be used while transformed); however, they cannot wield weapons, so they only do 50% damage,
and each subsequent death results in Decomposition, causing a 5% reduction to all abilities.
2. Highlander rules- . There can be only one. Limited to 750 participants. You only live once, but your stats increase
with each PVP player kill; and all kills end in a Vicious Death-esque explosion. Must be active in campaign for at
least 2 out of every 48 hours or you're TKO'd. When only a few remain, all surviving players become visible on the
map, leading to a final dramatic showdown for the ultimate prize.
3. A campaign that is determined entirely by your faction's Kills-per-Death ratio. Seems like a no-brainer.
4. Unscaled campaign- Your stats = Whatever they are outside of Cyrodil and other scaled zones.
5. Class warfare- 4 factions divided entirely by class.
Anybody else got any ideas to spice things up?
