It's there even if you chose the dialogue option that didn't involve the book. I tested it on the PTS with my main character.

I think it will be fixed with te Murkmire update.

Is it not showing for you in Karnwasten (sp?)?

No. Or rather where exactly should it be? I am usually searching at the back by the ships and expecially near the human miniboss on the outcropping there. Or is it somewhere else?

Hi all!

Does anyone know where I can find the Vine-Tongues: Happy Home book? The addon and other info says it's found inside Tsofear Cavern, however, I cannot find it where it's indicated? Could someone possibly help me with its location?

Update: I found it, didn't realise you had to look up and throw a stone at the plant to get to it XD

It's in Karnwasten public dungeon. I picked it up myself after the update.

In Karnwasten public dungeon, in the middle south part, near the path that leads you to the upper part.

Oh so I finally found the Night Runner's Journal in Karnwasten, thank you! Now I am missing Sapiarchs Recommendation in Summerset.. was that fixed too? Thanks...

So I now have all but one book. Invitation to the Kinlady's Conference from Summerset Scrolls is the only book I'm missing and I believe it still isn't obtainable outside of the quest?

Missing books post Murkmire:

This Summerset quest book is still missing. Unfortunately it's the last one I need for Summerset:


This Murkmire book from the prologue is unobtainable if you did the prologue intro quest PRIOR to the Murkmire update. I know I read the note multiple times, but at the time there was no lorebooks entry for it, so it didn't register anywhere. Now that the lorebook entry is there, the book is of course no longer obtainable, since you have finished the prologue intro quest. I can find no post-quest location for the book either:


You can still get the gold quest item from the crown store, I used it on an alt, and he did get the quest note, and he could read it and start the Murkmire prologue quest. But when I click it on my main, it is unusable, thus the book can never be read:

This is was actually already fixed before Murkmire was released, tho it wasn't in EM at that time. You can find it near the wayshrine of each alliance capital city.

Edit: Can't find the book anywhere in Mournhold, but I did find it in Elden Root on a stone fence near the wayshrine. Thanks for the hint.

Upon closer inspection I too cannot find it in Mournhold, strange that it isn't there like in the other two capitals

There are several books I'm missing. One book my main is missing is Tome of the Undaunted. I can stand in Elden Root and read the book (yes, my name is signed in the book) but it's not added to Eidetic Memory.

I used to play this great game that fixed big errors within a few days and collected all other errors every 3 months and fixed them all. There might not be much money in doing that, but at least you don't have people sitting exploding in front of their screens saying "I'm quitting this game. I write bug reports but no one takes them seriously anyway!".

Most of these are obtainable, if you're on PC I suggest getting the Lorebooks addon, it will show the location of most of them.

I believe these books are released and available to read when doing dailies in clockwork. just like some in Vvardenfell there are editics locked to those particular dailies.
