As someone who has been running SnB on a stam DK since I first started ESO, I vote go for it. Its pretty sick when you run a tanky support build with 5 piece fasallas + reverb bash. The healing debuff is ridonculous. -50% from fasallas and -30% from reverb. I litreally made a templar oom himself while he sat there trying to block BOL x 3 my ransack bash spam lol. With the ~10% increase in costs with this DLC this build became even better trolo.
Very effective. I decided i was sick of playing the meta NB with either 2H and bow or dual wield 2H. Same skills and such. So for the last couple of months I have been playing 1H/S and 2H, possibly trying out bow instead of 2H however I'm not sure if I won't to use pots for my major brutality. ANYWAYS. Here is what I have been running with great success.
5 fassala, 5 hundings (which i'm currently working on replacing with 5 skirmisher), 1 blood spawn, and 1 kena. I will be trying 2 pc scourger in place of blood spawn and kena once I get it.
my main bar is killers blade, surprise attack, resolving vigor, invasion, reverberating bash, incapacitating strikes.
2H bar is forward momentum, double take, shadowy disguise, relentless focus, and flex spot is sometimes shadow image sometimes piercing mark, and soul tether. As silly as it sounds I may throw swallow soul in the flex spot because I am testing something. Going to specifically use it when i'm cloaked to get a better heal than what normally you would get from swallow soul on a stam build. May be lack luster but we will see.
my mundus is serpent at the moment because after the patch for some reason my stamina recovery dropped by 300 even after replacing the CP into mooncalf. Though ZoS responded to my report saying some stats are reading wrong but they ensured me the real stat is actually in play, because of this I am going to put warrior back on and hope this is correct lol.
Do I hit as hard as a dual wield build? No. But close with skirmisher once i get that. My sustain is just as high though (especially once I replace hundings with skirmisher since i get an extra stam recovery) but HERE IS WHERE MY BUILD SHINES and has been very successful:
using reverberating bash, killers blade disease damage, fassalas healing debuff with a time VERY CHEAP incapacitating strike I hit plenty hard and it's very hard for the enemy to heal. I also have some CP into befouled. Basically I can healing debuff a target for over 80%. When focusing on my combos I can tear someone down and they simply can't out heal the damage. Just have to be smart when using fassalas. It only last 2 seconds and good players will vigor and dodge roll so only the first few tics will get the full debuff but its more than enough ESPECIALLY if they immediately go on the offensive because boom, debuff is back on and ruins the rest of their vigor tics. It makes most HoT's useless. The only people still able to heal well are templars setup for healing. But with disease damage and reverberating bash it still strains them and puts them on the defensive allowing me to simply LA/SA/Bash weave until they are in execute range. Killers blade is amazing now and it's very hard to come back from execute range now once they are debuffed.
I don't have CP into block cost reduction anymore since they moved it but at least they did buff it a bit. I mix dodge rolls with properly timed block (since you don't want to just hold block for this build).
