If my calculation is correct this is what made WB a nuisance

Empower 20%
Major Brutality 20%
Mighty 25%
75 point passive that gave 10% dmg bonus to knock back enemies
Crit increases it by 50%
Cheap as hell
Not interruptable
Range of a fishing line

In short: Nerf did nothing

You do have to choose between the knockback and Empower now...

I'd assume anyone using it in PVP will take the knockback morph though, as it would be hard to land two in row on any player w/o the CC.

The 2nd blow will be 20% weaker than in live. Not a huge nerf, but it is a nerf.
    Wood Elf Stam NB (PVP)
    Redguard Stam Sorc (PVP)
    Altmer NB (DPS)
    Imperial DK (Tank)
    Redguard DK (DPS)
    Altmer Templar (Healer)

Just slot magelight behind it on the back bar, and swap-weave it before and after your first swing. Now the first blow is 20% stronger.

I'm not sure why ZOS made it unable to be interrupted. That was a really fun mechanic that added a layer of skill for both the attacker and the defender.

Because every other major DPS cast/wind up can be interrupted?

Guess we'll be using bash when we see that swing coming. Lol

Personally I would use Entropy instead of magelight, for the additional damage/heal benefits, but point taken. I guess the magelight approach could be better if you were attacking from stealth or something, but most of the time an attack from stealth would be a critical rush anyway.

Anyway, in your scenario you have to spend a cooldown to get that 20% bonus on the first hit, and you lose Empower for the second and successive WBs. Somebody might want to theorycraft the sequence of Entropy-WB-WB compared to WB-WB-Execute (both post-DB) or something like that. I would bet that the latter comes out ahead in DPS.

What made it bad was cc immunity not working sometimes, and no dps alternative for half the Stam classes so they have to use it. It will be lowered by 10-20% dependent on the morph so that's good, right?

I'll continue to use the empower morph. Empowered leaps are too good. I use fossilize to land the first WB anyways.

Wb is a nuisance because the only way to counter it, is with a dodge roll or block. Both of which have usage penalty's. You can't bash it, purge it or reflect it.

You could say the same about ambush.
