DK stamina morphs changed to poison damage??

I read this before that they intend to change DK stamina morphs to poison damage, which I thought was good since I dont have to be forced to play dunmer at least for stamina builds.

So I rolled an orc DK.

I need any confirmation for this please and if its happening will it be with DB patch?

As much as people -want- them to be poison damage, it makes absolutely no sense. DK's use fire magic, not poison. The animations wouldnt match up at all with the effects. Entire passives would have to be redone since you're no longer causing burning with the ability, but a poison effect.

Sorry, but I think it's probably going to stay fire.

They never said they "intended" anything So you jumped the gun for making that build.

They never said it was a sure thing, just an idea they tossed out on ESO Live as an example of things they look into when it comes to re-balancing. I think a lot of the forum posts at the time of the announcement (my own included) were worded too ambiguously and may have confused people into thinking it was a sure thing. For the record: it's not a sure thing at all.

It's a good plan to ask for sources when you hear about any "changes that are going to happen" for that exact reason, sometimes it's just a misreading, sometimes it's true, sometimes it's complete farce.

Not a guarantee OP. The idea was merely tossed about on ESO live. They did however mention balancing things for stamina builds such as the DK hitting for fire damage and NBs hitting for magic damage. Even if it does not become fire, Im sure they will balance it out by compensating it somehow.

Personally I dont see how it makes sense to leave things like unstable flame as fire damage especially when most other builds are getting double buffed by both mighty/ele expert and thamaturge. Ie: things like proxy det and flurry are getting both buffs from damage CP and the thamaturge CP. So it does stand to reason that things like killers blade and unstable flame etc will get adjusted somehow that they too will get at least the correct buff from CP for their build. Ie: Stam = phy/poison/disease and not elemental/magic damage.

BUTTTT, this is ZOS so we never know what will happen.

They should change the stamina morphs to blue flames and make it deal disease damage, because dragons with fire breath usually had a disease affect too (Mythological lore).

Stamina builds need physical, poison desease dmg, more more more more.

It hasn't been confirmed op. Just looking into it.

Your of Dk will be fine though. Just will only be using 4 or 5 Dk abilities.

I think Wrobel will make it so OP.

Many people will bash him for it before it goes live & I think it will actually work.

He isn't as dumb as people think he is, if they give him a chance I think he can do some cool things.

The problem is that today people need to be told what's happening before it happens. I think just do it, see what the backlash is a week, a month or so later and if it's too negative just roll back the old skill but experiment a little ( PTS is a good place for this )

Still it would be very intersting. I hate that an entire class is forced to play only 1 race whether stamina or magica otherwise you lose 7% dps
