I love ESO. I play whenever I can and try to support the game as much as possible through sub, crown store, and recommendations to others.
One of my reasons to turn on ESO every day is for pledges and the more difficult dungeons with my friends. Someone like me will have no real reason to play daily anymore. With no new (dungeon) content I really dont have much use for undaunted keys anymore and making those dungeons trivial will pretty-well stomp out my desire to run dungeons at all. What is wrong with having a few dungeons with elevated difficulty? There are a dozen more that are dont require much optimization to complete.

I have no problem with making these dungeons more accessible to those who have not really got to experience them. BUT you need to add vet dungeons first and do them in tiers.

I don't know if you guys realize it or not, but a big draw to get people to log in everyday and make this game relevant for PvErs is dungeons. 2 dungeons a year that become trivial through nerfs is not going to cut it. You may think "well only x% of players have completed that content" but that x% are those of us that log in every day and sub and talk about the game.

I love ESO and I feel that people complain way too much about something so incredible as the world you guys have created. People are only vocal about the things they dislike and I guess im the same lol. I fell you guys are alienating the most loyal and fervent player-base. All we have now is vMSA and why do I have the feeling that it will also be trivial in the near future?

These dungeons are being changed because of player feedback, so don't expect them to turn their heads to this. 100% of content needs to be within the ability of 100% of their player base (or pretty damn close.) This is a continuous trend. I went on red alert the moment Doisha was nerfed lol The majority of players looking for competitive respectable content realized the path the game was on and are long gone. The road ahead is sure to contain more quests and environment content that is easily completed by anyone who is logging into the game for the first time. This is the group of players the devs and QA feel they can relate with best.

But at what cp level and gear improvements?? Green gear with 90 cp, using no set gear? That's why they have non vet dungeons. Non vet dungeons are not just for non vets, but due to players starting off Dungeoning in the first place. It takes time and practice, and néed to gear up your character and get enough CPs.

I've seen so many newcomers using pvp setups in dungeons, it just makes me cry. The worst was a v16 sorc just doing heavy lightning attacks, and casting atro ultimate when avail (which is a joke in pvp as well). He had finally figured out he was the weak link and left....the non vet bhh!! (which is one of the harder non vets). Players first have to learn that pve and pvp are night and day...

Eso does need to help with this though. I've had to research this and ask lots of questions to other players when starting out. They need better in game tutorials. Heck, put a hard link in the game for deltia's web site which has soon much valuable info for pve.

A much simpler solution, that many others have suggested before, would be to add an "Elite" mode on top of Veteran mode. Elite mode would be extremely difficult and exist just for the challenge. Players who only cared about grinding end-game gear would be satisfied with the moderately difficult Veteran mode.

For this to work, however, you can NOT attach "special" gear rewards to the Elite mode. Do this, and you simply start the whole cycle of complaints and nerfs all over again! Elite mode should be there just for the achievement and the bragging rights.
