Ebonheart Outcasts: Less Obligation, but Needs a Rebirth

Here's the thing, I'm a long time gamer, probably with a resume of gaming longer than some players ages. However, ESO on Xbox one is the first foray into an MMO world I've ever partaken in.

I've had a guild, for some time now, called the Ebonheart Outcasts. It's small, and as it is now, it mostly serves little purpose but to show me when my personal friends are online. As we are mostly in our early 30s, most of them have more of lives than I do, or have serious gaming ADD and move on to other things.

I would like to pull this thing out of the ashes and make it what I envisioned in the start - a guild for people who want to do PVP, pledges, trials, group dungeons, etc, but do NOT have the time to set aside 3 hours per day every day of the week.

The ideal, is to make Sunday the strongest day for any group activities. Giving us the opportunity to do things like trials and pledges with other people, but without the daily constant necessity of it that many serious guilds have. If we can make this take off, and open a guild store as well, then we can try to capture the trading market as well. Everyone benefits with much more relaxed obligation to compensate for real life.

It's mostly, obviously, geared towards adults with responsibilities. But I'm willing to let anyone in.

Also, if someone out there wants to help me really turn this guild into something better, I would be more than happy to bring on a more experienced advisor.

Leave your XBOX Live Gamertag in a comment if interested, or any suggestions you'd find helpful.

Hmm. Have you considered joining a bigger guild? I'm gm of a 150 person guild and I'm merging it with a 250 person guild at the moment. We have many of the same visions you do and I'd love to have you check us out if you'd like.

@TARAFRAKA yes, I've considered it. And my real life obligations and schedule, as well as my desire to focus on mostly solo content more often than grouping up keep me from finding a good fit. The only appealing time for me to really want to get into more group related content is on something like Sunday, which is my only guaranteed day off under normal circumstances. My roommate is in a similar situation. So when most guilds do most of their group outings during days and hours I'm absolutely unavailable, it sort of renders it pointless.

I will certainly retain my guild, and if people with similar issues such as me find their way, they find their way. If not, they won't. But, it's sort of the point of the guild name too.

That said, I have no qualms with the idea of also joining another guild as well. If it leads me to a place where I'm able to accomplish things that require large groups, I'm game. My roommate who is nearing vet 1 on his first character is likely to want in on something like that as well, provided when he and I have the bulk of our free time (Sunday in particular but other times as well) we would be able to at least get someone for a 4 group outing at the least. I'd love to experience these 12 group trials though.

Well I certainly understand that perspective. We are a bunch of misfits as well and we essentially do things planned and at the last second. We ran the new trial a couple nights ago with essentially a 5 min discussion and group up. Lemme know if you two would like to check us out.
