Templar questions

Hello guys,

I've decided to level a DPS templar and it's gonna be my first character on the game.
I'm not sure if i am gonna make a magicka or a stamina templar but i have a few questions.

1. If i am gonna make an magicka templar, won't i be doing any melee combat?
2. What type of armor is best for a magicka templar and an stamina templar? (Heavy, medium or Light)
3. any tips are welcome regarding an Templar.

1) There are generally two damage options for a magicka templar, that being puncturing sweeps(which is melee) and dark flare(range).
2) Light for magicka, Medium for stamina.
3) Go magicka, equip puncturing sweeps on your bar. There, you have a decent build for leveling from 3-v16.

Puncturing sweeps and breath of life you should have no trouble leveling up , I found this class the easiest to level , if your going to PvP get meteor the mages ultimate as templar ones are pretty poor

If you're doing PVP you'll want to level resto for the Shield. Templar shield stinks in PVP so that Sorcs aren't super OP.
