I think a wait and see attitude is best. Sure, the change means everyone will have Proxy Det for very little effort. I'm not sure that really matters. It's not usually Proxy Det that kills me so much as the 9 Steel Tornado hits along with it. Besides, with it's huge red circle tell, you get plenty of warning it's coming. What's more intriguing to me is how hard the new damage scaling will hit.

The AP required to unlock Alliance skills is getting significantly reduced. Something like 17% of the previous amount AP will be needed.

Alliance ranks themselves are unchanged.

If it's magicka det and inevitable det you're worreid about hold block... it'll do as much damage as a wet noodle. Proxy det is only as good as the person using it. Theres a huge red ring around their character, stay out of the red ring and you'll be fine.

If anything it just means there's going to be an influx of people who have no idea how to use it, slotting it because they heard it was OP and get rekt because it requires they're put somewhat into close range. You'll literally have targets throwing themselves at you.

Definitely going full cheese with proxy, sap and Soul tether. Slamming vicious death when I get jewellery and weapons.

Hopefully peolle follow suit so pvp get's so broken zos realise they're making stupid choices and learn from it.

Not a realistic expectation I know, but I can only hope.

The only beast is really mag nb, cloak + lotus + proxy = 25k dmg consistently no ult

Will be, it already is by nubs running around spamming steel tornado. With aoe caps and their 6x pocket healers. Literally unkillable.

Took it off my bar for this reason. Once it counts down, I feel like I need to commit to engaging my target close range. 7/10 times that is not what I normally do. When I see someone inexperienced cast it, you can see the red ring where they were even if they hide or not. Not good, not good!

4K+ Magic damage with no spell penetration...not really. In one of those ball groups it probably couldn't hurt if you don't use magic for anything else.

Currently my magicka nb is using a desto until he unlocks proxy, then back to dual wield for some melee action.

My nonvet Magicka NB will be doing DW and hitting a Inev. Deto (NOT Proxy) - Cripple - Lotus - Fear - Soulharvest combo, which should burst almost anyone down.

But what i look forward to the most, is to go back to my parked lvl 46 Sorc, to wreck people with Inev. Deto, Curse, Frag, Fury. In nonvet, just the plain Curse, Frag, Fury, could burst lowhealth/squishy targets. With Deto, magicka sorc will be a killing machine.

Or ZOS could just remove this BS skill entirely, since it does not Zerg bust as intended and instead is basically a go-to ability for all Magicka toons that have access to it.

Speaking of BS @Wrobel.

Why the hell can Any of the Detonations be used WITH Velocious Curse? It specifically says it's a curse and Vel. Curse specifically says you can only have one curse active at a time. I'm a magicka sorc and I think this is dumb, because consistency should be a thing.

If it works for that MagNB build more power to you. Destro is still really good though for Crushing and Impulse+morphs. Like Fire Destro w/ Nirn hurts especially if your pointing that stick at a Vampire.

Magblades have access to Swallow Soul for weaving instead of Crushing Shock and Sap Essence instead of Impulse. In the TG update when Elemental and magic damage are in the same CP star Swallow Soul will still be superior as it costs much less to cast and heals you ( or your allies with the other morph) with a HoT. Unless you REALLY want a ranged interrupt.

No lol that's maybe 13k. Soul tether to 22k if they are full light no impen just stand there.
