I'm stumped :( Advice welcomed.

Ok so first off I play PC NA. I main'd a Nord DK since Beta, she ended up being end-game Stam DPS. I have an alt that is a V7 Dunmer Templar, mag, with healing focus and off hand dps/offence in PVP.

Basically I'm throwing my hands up in frustration, with the upcoming changes to Templars, and how none of the new DK tweaks really effects my stam build.

Do I need to basically make a Sorc like everyone else? Or maybe a Mag DK, but there are going to be so many of those

I've been leveling my V7 trying to get Prox Det, and farming CP on her while I level her, but is it not worth it now? Should my Nord DK try Mephala and a Bow build?

Or do I need to just hope for race change for my Nord Dk

What would you do if you were me? I hate cookie cutter builds but I think the changes are going to lean that way, and pretty soon Mag toons will run Molag Kena with Vicious Death and proxi-det, and people who are still butthurt over WB will continue to be salty by using those stam reduct seige, and I predict hardly anyone will do the others, I just don't know what the safe way to go in pvp is.

firstly i think you are misunderstanding alot of the dk changes... YES they are mostly buffing the Magicka DK who imo needs buffing more than a Stam DK...

The changes to templar are quite serious with a nerf to Bol,
However there are some buffs in other areas,

All this means is that you will need to think more about healing than just spamming Bol,
it will no longer be the meta but rather the exception..

All these changes still need to be tested....

SO.

GET ONTO PTS and TEST you builds...

just kidding, lol. The beta came out just a few days ago, its not too late for some of those patch notes changes to change, dont lose hope. Think of an AD buff server you were likely forced to play in for the first few months (for me it was hopesfire:D )and how you never gave up hope, despite the Alacrity- AD gate campers ruining everything, do it again here:D

Play what u enjoy IMO. If u wanna know thebest class/build in 2 months when changes hit live, well no one knows right now.

Dont be a cookie cutter if it bums u out, u dont have to. This me as magicka Templar dps in heavy armor vs 7.

Exactly 0 ppl will tell u to play this build. Why? Cause heavy is gimped and Templars have sub-par dps. I wanted to be a like 'holy paladin' type char iin heavy fighting in melee so I made my char to do that.

Trust ne bro u'll have more fun playing a class u have enjoy playing vs ekeing out a few more kills bc u have FoTM buffs which will be nerfed anyhow (time to reroll stamblades).

If u wanna go FoTM 90% shot mag Sorc is new FoTM. It is a gamble ATM tho.

With the change to Igneous Weapons you won't have to run a 2H on your StamDk. You COULD create a new build, perhaps something like a Zelda Sword/Board/Bow build.... I will be trying this out, just need the Link costume though.

MagTemp will be played the exact same way, cause ZOS doesn't know they even exist.
