question about the VET PVP (low level dudes, have no chance)

I did 10k WBs in BWB with my stam dk. Granted, 501 CP have a big part in that, but you can gear even at non-vet in a way that gets you into those regions, thanks to battle scaling, even if you are only sporting around 300.

The way battle leveling currently works, V4 can be tougher than V16. Not sure which particular armor sets they are using, but I have encountered some V4 players that were beasts. Might require upgrading V4 sets to gold.

They're just good players that thanks to battle levelling aren't held back by Stats.

Vet16s will always have a slight statistical advantage though.

Weapon damage and spell damage are higher than V16 for certain low level builds with gold gear.

BiS=Best In Slot.
its a term for the best possible gear you can be using for a spec/class.
meta BiS would mean best specc with best gear equipped.
midmaxing is priority for serious PvPers.

for most magicka builds, as many in thread have mentioned, julianos 5piece is BiS.
since it is craftable, its also easy to obtain.

for duals, the arena district in imperial city, on off hours, is usuall ya good plac to find em.

I play on my VR1 Magicka DK fairly often and I've won 1v3 against VR16s, given I have just over 300 CP which does make a huge difference it is actually pretty nice with the battle leveling system now. Soon with the no CP campaign it should be even easier for new players to adjust to the flow of Vet.

They are fixing it - just wait 3-4 months.

They are getting rid of VR levels soon
And there will be no CP pvp campaigns out there.

The only disadvantage you will have is gear...so start working on that end as soon as possible.

@johngo0036 - totally fair point, there are now a lot of super high CP Alts in black water. I still think the higher number of noobie players was what was helping the OP in the non vet campaigns, though. Or maybe black water players aren't as good.

Black water is kinda funny because of the CP system. Is that level 30 a real level 30, or is he hiding 500 CPs? Ha...I've hit both.

The OP should be helped by the march update, when Azuras and (I think) black water will move to non-champion point campaigns. None of the CP buffs will apply, so he should be on equal footing and do better.
