    Hey all.

Just haven't seen these numbers anywhere yet so wanted to let people know the new AP requirements for the Assault/Support skill trees.

    Rank 1: 0 - 700 AP
    Rank 2: 700 - 8,000 AP
    Rank 3: 8,000 - 37,300 AP
    Rank 4: 37,300 - 90,000 AP
    Rank 5: 90,000 - 150,000 AP
    Rank 6: 150,000 - 210,000 AP
    Rank 7: 210,000 - 300,000 AP
    Rank 8: 300,000 - 450,000 AP
    Rank 9: 450,000 - 670,000 AP
    Rank 10: 670,000 AP.

This means if you are AvA Rank (not skill, RANK) 8 or above on Live you will get Proxy. If you are AvA Rank 11.5 (or so) on live then you will max out the Alliance War skill trees when this goes live providing nothing changes.

Amazing, so now the pve'ers get their abilites but it took me 2 1/2 months to get magicka det on my sorc. So ur telling me everyone can get det. Now? This is garbage. Now make it a week thing to get the monster helms this game gets worse every update

Huh? He said campaign performance. What does fair fights have anything to do with it?

PvE players want the assault/support skill line skills and so do PvP. Both parties can make a compelling argument as to why they need certain skills from the skill lines to be competitive in raids, or open world PvP. I don't think we should decide things based on a roleplaying hierarchy of what the alliance ranks mean to you.

If those are the sort of values they are aiming for, I hope they will adjust them slightly so they neatly line up with Alliance Ranks:
    • Rank 2 – 700 (AR 1, Volunteer I)
    • Rank 3 – 8,000 (AR 3, Rrcruit I)
    • Rank 4 – 48,000 (AR 5, Tyro I)
    • Rank 5 – 88,000 (AR 6, Tyro II)
    • Rank 6 – 224,000 (AR 8, Legionary II)
    • Rank 7 – 326,400 (AR 9, Veteran I)
    • Rank 8 – 456,000 (AR 10, Veteran II)
    • Rank 9 – 809,600 (AR 12, Corporal II)
    • Rank 10 – 1,310,400 (AR 14, Sergeant II), or 1,040,000 (AR 13, Sergeant I)

To make it fair, they need to do the same thing for Undaunted as that's also a horrible grind. Sure, the abilities aren't as powerful, but getting to rank 7 and 9 for the only meaningful passive in the tree is too steep.

Enjoy our pvp abilities now u pve'rs. Now gtfo of cyrodiil

    Lol that's funny (sincerely)

Not saying I disagree entirely, because there is some merit to this. Of course not all PvErs are the same, many of us who are predominantly PvErs still spent weeks upon weeks in Cyro to gain access to the skills too, so it's not like those of us PvErs who earned it "the hard way" don't share the same sentiment.

I don't think your intention here was to over-generalize, but simply to be funny. Just wanted to add in my two cents. :)

I still think the AP needed is to low. Should have been like a previous reply to this post said, one rank of assault/support every 2 levels instead of 3. Something around 3 or 4 million, give or take sounds fair. Still would take some time, but would definitely speed up the process.

It is sad already that they gave into the whiners and increased it. It is a skill line, it should not take months to years for a casual player to get. No other skil line is anywhere close.

    Agreed.

I leveled 2H from 5 to 50 in about an hour of playing. I"m rank 5 in Alliance war skills after almost 2 years of playing the game.

Most PVE players don't want the skills for PVP, they want them to use in PVE content.

Whats sad is that it took me a week to get undaunted 9(max level mind you not 10 whoever said it was 10) And if i go full blast on pvp for like 4 or 5 hours, ill have 200k ap(Not hard if you are not new to mmos. By now no one should really be new to mmos.. tons have been out). Yes they should make undaunted easier for pvpers like 50% of the time(got 5 alts needing to level that up) and increase pvp ranks a little bit more. 2.5m max seems to be a winning number in my eyes like someone has posted. Passives and active skills shouldnt take the same amount of time since one skill does more for you than the other. It is not a necessity for you to get undaunted rank 9, but a want to max out your stats. Those couple thousand magicka wont hurt pvp players(didnt for me at first, but still wanted to get undaunted 9 to see how my stats go. I list a little bit of magicka and gained 600 stamina and 1k hp. not that great imo). Passives on the other hand should be easier to get than active skills since they are passives, something you really dont even need to be competitive. Pvp skills should take long, but not too long for a casual who pvps for 2 hours. 2.3m isnt that hard to get either, but 1.2m is still too easy for active skills that benefit pvp and pve immensely. This is just my 2 cents on this conversation.

So us pvpers can get mage/fighter/unduanted 10 each right with 90% reduction? Thats how this works isn't it, you take months of effort and turn it into a 1-2 day job to cater to the lazy pve casuals.

So can i start getting preset v16 to mess around with? Or make leveling skills/lines and actual levels 90% less?

Mage guild how about 1 book a rank?

Or let us buy the ranks at 10 for 50k ap a go?

Basically you get the 3 skill lines from PvE in the same amount of time anyway with the PvP reduction so not really an issue to get the PvE skill lines. Would you like some cheese to all that whine? ;)

Fighter's guild takes a few hours just grinding zombies/dolmens, very easy to do. Same with mages guild, just collect books, which takes a few hours. Only one taking some effort is undaunted but the achievements in vet dungeons gives you exp towards undaunted when you complete them so that won't really take long either. 20-30 minutes doing a gold pledge each day for a lot of undaunted exp isn't really long, only thing that's long is to wait for the new pledge. Getting max rank in AVA skill lines takes weeks at least by constantly pvping on live.

I for one am glad. I have 7 toons I pvp with. The current way penalises you for using other classes and trying out new builds.

Especially a stam class. Having rally as your only Heal doesn't really cut it. Makes you want to instantly log off and hop on something you can actually heal yourself with.
