For animation cancelling, why not make the effect take place at the END of the animation and not at the beginning? When I fire of my Pulsar for example it fire at the point of the animation where my character raises the staff, why not just move it to the END or RISE of the staff to fire off? The can be applied to pretty much any skill.
I can reliably 99.9% of the time WITHOUT macros, pop all 3 of my shields (as a sorc) in less than 2 seconds. For Hardened Ward they like spread their arms and then the bubble should pop at the "peak", but the bubble actually pops when the character spreads their hands not when it reaches the "peak" of the animation which would make sense.
Just a quick thought.
