Well initially, it was just to check whether we were correctly understanding the patch note, in that the CP formula had been changed without any advance notice, and changed only on Xbox One and nowhere else (although I assume it'll be changing in the PS4 patch tomorrow). Both previous proposed changes to the CP formula were communicated in advance, and this one wasn't.Pepper8Jack wrote: »Not sure why this is being so heavily debated. This allows currently capped players to make more progress toward future cap raises, while still limiting the number of CPs they can spend, thereby reducing the immense power gap between 100 CPs and 1000 CPs. Makes perfect sense to me.
Who cares if they'll already be at the next cap when it hits? Players under the cap will still be earning them faster (I.e. catching up) and players at or beyond the cap won't be able to spend their additional points, meaning the gap won't continue to widen.
