Stam NB vs. Mag Sorc

There have been a lot of polls trying to gauge people's opinions about which class/build is the most powerful in PvP. From these polls the consensus has been Stamina Nightblades and Magicka Sorcs.

So if we do a direct head-to-head between these two frontrunners, what I want to know is: what is your build? Do you play the same class/build as the one that kills you the most? Do you play the other powerful build? What is the interplay between the two most powerful builds? Is "overpowered" just relative? Obviously I don't expect the results to tell us the whole story... I just want a little more depth than the usual "what class is most OP" without regard to the class/build of the person answering the question.

Ideally I would like to make a poll with 64 options (choose from the 8 major class/build combos for yourself, then do the same for the class/build combo that kills you the most) but since that's not possible I am going to narrow the focus to Magicka Sorcs and Stamina Nightblades, and your experience either playing as them or being killed by them, with some broader categories serving as the catch-all "other" type answers.

I'm a stamina NB and in a 1v1 magicka sorcs rarely beat me. And no, I don't use shield breaker.
Hardest thing would be a good magicka NB. Or a DK using reverberating bash take flight combo.
In group situations or 1vX it's usually who ever gets the most aoes off on me. Spin to win.
Also, group situations are... situational. That one encase/fear/power bash/etc made me blow the last bit of stamina which ultimately resulted in my death.

I was killed only if someone hits me 4-5 times in 1 shot (total 25K~30K damage) or in a zerg.

Where's the "My build's not listed and people with 400+ champion points kill me, but everything else is fine" option?

I am a stamplar and nb's are my most killed and kill me the most.... Of which I attribute to target rich environment.

Theres more nb's than there is sorc though so your going to get a lot more stam nb's getting killed by sorc resullts.

It's going to be a biased, unfair poll. Not in the sense you intended that but just because of the sheer numbers of nb's in pvp.

Think of it almost like 3 separate polls. Right now we've got Magicka Sorc Poll with 9 responses (7 of those killed by Stam NB, or 77%), the Stam Nightblade Poll with 18 responses (13 of those killed by Mag Sorc, or 72%), and the Everyone Else Poll (which would include Stam Sorc & Mag NB, btw) with 19 responses, which currently shows that group being killed by Stam NB 47% of the time and Magicka Sorc 42% of the time (so far).

I voted on behalf of my character I've spent the most time in Cyrodiil with, as I haven't noticed a pattern yet with the other two:

I'm a magicka dragonknight, and stamina nightblades kill me the most. Usually in a pack, all simultaneously spamming ambush.

On the flip side though, I've also killed the most nightblades on all 3 of them - but as it's already been said, they're everywhere in Cyrodiil right now.

Both are awsome, fun and efficent to play in PvP. I play both from time to time. You should try both before settling.

Tough my main is a nightblade, always has been and always will

I'm a stam sorc and stam nb, on my nb, nbs kill me the most, on my sorc I feel like it's more balanced, never really one specific class but generally from getting ganked or outnumbered.

Trying to play all classes though, want to get into stam dk next.

Magicka Templar. Stam NB kills me the most. Usually it's Fear that gets me, break free is broke on that ability.

Don't get any trouble from Sorcs but I can't kill them because Hardened Ward.

I will add that when on my Stam NB I never die because cloak, dodge and Vigor. Very rarely a Zerg might catch up, it takes quite a few to kill me.

I kill all classes equally and I haven't died yet.
